  1. They make the orderless, burpless fish oil now, but they are so big I am afraid to try to swallow one! I tried to open one up and put it on food and I thought I would die with the first bite! Talk about nasty!
  2. I paid $20,000 as a cash patient.
  3. What a beautiful post Leatha! Enjoy every minute you can with her and you'll never regret one moment. I lost my Mother, and my best friend. We were so close, we did everything together. There's never a day that doesn't go by that I don't think about her in some way. I miss her more than words can say. If I had one wish that would come true, it would be to spend one day with my parents once more, to be able to say all the things I didn't say and could have. Happy Mother's Day to all of you!
  4. You aren't having problems too are you? I sure hope not!
  5. Since I changed my screen and the ads are on the left now I can see my whole screen just like before! I love having this option and I love the new stuff! Great work Alex!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  6. Gosh, so many prayers needed here this week, sending one for all of you. I'm sorry I have been trying to read all the posts just have been extremely busy this week. I'll try to catch up with you all this weekend! Just because I am not posting doesn't mean I am not thinking about each and everyone of you! Hugs!
  7. Welcome to bandland! :clap2: :clap2: :clap2:
  8. Sounds to me like you just need more fill. I have to say though that my fill tightens after a few weeks, so be careful not to get a fill too fast.
  9. Welcome to LBT and to bandland! I'm also from Texas!
  10. Welcome to LBT and to bandland! I didn't have any trouble with jello, but each person is different. Hope you feel better now.
  11. Welcome to bandland! You're gonna love it here! :clap2:
  12. Happy Bandiversary to you! You have done an awsome job with your band! Congrats!:clap2: :clap2:
  13. I heard Capitol One is a good one. I used a 0% intrest credit card for mine.
  14. Congrats! I love my band, you will too! Good Luck!
  15. Each doctor has their own rules on this and you really need to do as he says. Mine has me only do liquids the remainder of the day I was filled, and he stresses to me to make sure I start back to solids the next day. You'll find all doctors do things different.
  16. Welcome to LBT! Good luck with your journey!
  17. Take some Airborne, it really helps! Good Luck!
  18. Congrats to you! I hear your excitement way down here in Texas! :clap2:
  19. Welcome to LBT! Start reading the threads on here and you'll learn lots of valuable information! Good Luck and let us know how you do!
  20. Awwww Kat, I am so sorry you are going through all this. The medical field sucks anymore with all the fine lines they have. What happened to the days you just went to the hospital and they helped you? Give me back the good old days! Sweetie you know you and Rick are in our prayers. I am sure things will work out just fine for you. Don't worry about family members, they aren't the most important thing in your life right now. If they get nasty, tell them to come and take care of him and sit at the hospital, you are done. I bet they back off real quick! Don't worry about your w/l either, your day will come and your band will be waiting for you. Just take care of yourself right now so that you will be able to go through all the things you will have to go through to take care of Rick. Hugs to you sweetie, and don't forget to keep us posted when you get a chance to. We understand you can't be here when you want to be.
  21. Welcome to LBT! You are doing great with your band! There is a lot of great supportive people on this board, you'll always find someone willing to help you with a question.
  22. Awwwww Karen, I am so sorry to hear not only about your band, but your DH also. You have both been through so much this last year. We've missed you here on LBT! How is your daughter doing with her band? I am glad you still have other options to help you. Please keep us updated on your surgery! :)
  23. Welcome to LBT! Good luck with your journey!
  24. It took me 5 fills to get to the place that I had restriction. You are doing fine, you need to take it slowly, heal properly and then worry about the weight loss.
  25. It's best if you can find a surgeon near you, after surgery you will still have to have fills and be taken care of. Most doctors won't take on a patient that was banded somewhere else. I would find a place near me that I didn't have to worry about traveling to get to every time I had a concern. Good Luck!
