Not Losing Weight

I got banded 6 weeks ago and had my first fill 2 weeks ago. I must say, I'm a bit disappointed that I have no restriction and am not losing weight. Actually, I've gained back the 10 pounds I lost while preparing for surgery. Has anyone else had this experience? I can't be the only one. Thank you:cry

Just eating the same as everyone else. Not more, unfortunately NOT LESS. I was hoping for more restriction.

I'm Thinking About Having This. This Is My Biggest Fear That I Will Not Lose. You Can Doo It!!! Prove It To Me.lol

It took me 5 fills to get to the place that I had restriction. You are doing fine, you need to take it slowly, heal properly and then worry about the weight loss.

Rmarko, I was banded for the first time two weeks ago also and I have put on 2 kilos - not happy. In saying that though I am not excercising which I know will make a huge change ...

Good luck with you next fill

Thank you so much for your response. I was feeling like an island. Are you losing now? When did you start losing?

I didn't reach really good restriction until my 4th fill 6 weeks ago. Hang in there and practice good habits. Get another fill as soon as your urgeon allows. The weigh WILL come off!
