  1. My doctor keeps track of the fluid in my band. He withdraws the fluid each time to check it. I would be very careful about letting someone else do it.

  7. Heather - I have drinks once in a while, however you are only two weeks post-op. I think you need to wait until your band heals, I didn't have my first one till 6 weeks. I would definately take it easy until you are healed up.

  9. Have you had a fill yet? If not, you are still wide open, and still healing. It would only be natural for you to get hungry if you are wide open. Are you on solids yet? If so, make sure you are eating the protein first, then veggies. Make sure you don't drink with your meals or an hour afterwards.

  11. They served me coffee in the hospital. I also ask my Doctor about it and he said it won't hurt me!
