You 2 are brave. I just got over an addiction. And I'm close all the time to going back. And before this thread I had not even thought about the possability of replacing my food addiction with my past obsession. I pray that does not happen. For me it is worse than any drug.

I was on some medication that made me gain so much. And a hurt knee did not help me either.I just got big quick.

Well I weigh about 320 and would love to see 196 again. 6 years ago when I left the NAVY I weighed about 196. And gainded all this weight in 1 year.

Can I ask wher you had the surgery and the Doctor?

I'm still not banded, hopfully 4/20. But this is one of the reasons I want to git fit. I have a 8 yr old son and 3 yr old Girl. And the last time Me and My wife went to an amusment park. I was way bigger than the last time, and could not ride some of the rides. I was so sad for my 8 yr old he had to ride by himself. And I wanted to hide. Oh the shame.

I have been treating my meals like that for the last month and a half. When I went to my first consult. This is the first thread I have found on this. I fell like I have gaind 25 lbs.

So how long normally, does it take to get 1st fill after banding.

Hi all I have a 4/20 surgery date andjust started preop diet today. I was to start diet on 4/6 but I really did not think that I would have surgery 4/20. Because my wife is having the surgery also,but she went to her first consultation 1 month after me. But she had ins. aproval before me, because they sent her labs and info under my name. and when we got it fixed she was aproved and I'm still waiting. I talked to lapband soultions today and they said that by next week they should have aproval. And to keep up the preop diet for my 4/20 date. So my question is this. should I tell them that I did not start the diet on 4/6 or just keep quiet and be extra good.
