  1. Yea. Patients have rights to whatever you don't want to happened in case of an emergency so just let your surgeon team know a head of time. It has nothing to do with insurance. It's similar to if you had an allergy to certain meds or products. But discuss that ahead of time. Good luck
  2. Im so excited. Hi all, Just want to say thanks to all here on this forum. I finally made it to Onderland and not without you guys helping me. Some of you may already be familiar with me, because I'm the President and CEO of the slow losers club. And guys, i had to rethink my position. lol So, i finally got the break I was looking for. I did the 5 day pouch test that was originally designed for gastric bypass patients. I was out of control with you guess it slider foods like that darn, popcorn. It work to get you back to basics and that it did. Happy dance here! No more popcorn for me after following the program And as an added benefit i lost down 5 pounds. Yay Thank you, because we share more in way of encouraging each on this Journey than sometimes with others. Ballermom

Happy to report, that these few months of Major changes with hard work is paying off! It was harder in the beginning and a way of life Now. Not a day goes by at work that i don't get many compliments! Yay, im very happy with 68lbs down from a size 24 to a size 12/14. Yay Be encouraged we can do this!

  18. Well I had to go back to basics. Because popcorn has been a slider food for me. I read the post in the link provided and I can say my slider food attachment developed because I didn't like the full feeling. So I could eat a whole bag without feeling food. Sometimes i would rest and repeat. So now I'm on day 2 of the 5DPT. Mainly to get back to basics. I like that I'm reaching for protein. I' was stalling and not lost what I wanted, now these slider foods is part of the cause.
  19. Way to go! Congratulations are in order!
  20. I was hooked on slider foods Popcorn was my vice. I loved it like I use to love sweets. So I started the 5 day pouch test to break the bad habits of snacking, not eating protein foods and not drinking my protein shakes.I'm glad I did. The first day I missed carbs popcorn and chewing. Lol 2nd day I'm doing way better. I'm reaching for protein first and feeling renewed with my sleeve. Even breaking the habit of drinking more than 1 cup of coffee. Drinking my shake now. Yay
