  1. I had my lapband in May....still have not told anyone except my husband and kids! For me that is a huge deal because I admittedly cannot keep a secret! I just did not want to deal with any of the judgments or remarks but I honestly thought by now I would have told at least someone else. Sometimes I feel guilty not telling someone else who is struggling with their weight but I am sure they know it is available. I did it on my own...if someone told me, I probably would have been offended......just my 2 cents! Good luck on your journeys!
  2. You can do it....just check out the bandster rules and stay on line with us.....it is so motivating! Good Luck
  3. I remember feeling the same way. Once you start to lose and feel better you will realize you made the right choice. We hall have had the "What the hell did I do" moments. You are in what is known as bandster hell....it will not last long! I promise you it gets much better! Metal
  4. I will say it again.....Green you rock!
  5. Green is my favorite moonbat!!!!
  6. I had to read this when I saw that Jack responded....I knew he would say something profound and once again he delivers and does not disappoint! Jack You Rock!
  7. How about house things that you normally would not buy....new really nice sheets or that thing that would look perfect in your house but would not go and buy (because we buy for everyone else). Expensive make up...nice perfume...have a ball!
  8. Sorry that you have to go through this! How is your daughters prognosis.....any luck with the specialist? Hugs...
  9. You were always attractive....It is the fact that you feel it again that draws the attention!!! So much of this is the way we feel about ourselves! Good for you, you should date and have fun....you worked hard for this, you might as well enjoy it!!!!!
  10. It hurts the lining of your stomach....even liquid. It is the thing I miss most about being banded.
  11. You and your husband are angels on earth!!
  12. Just think.....you are never leaving onederland again!
  13. Yay Sue!!!! Doesn't it feel great. I am starting to think this is actually going to work:clap2:
  14. There used to be a thread called "What was your last straw" It had kind of the same info.... My last straw was the doc saying you are pre-diabetic! I went to a seminar, left thinking i do not need surgery, I can so this myself and came back 3 months with an extra 10 lbs! It has been the best decision I have ever made!!!!
  15. Congratulations......be safe and check in when you can. We will miss you on the conservative vs. moonbat umm.. I mean liberal discussions!!
  16. I am 5'1" and started at 230....I feel your pain! Just to let you know, I just bought a jacket/blazer type at Kohls....size petite large!!! No X insight. You will be there before you know it.....shopping will be fun again, I promise! Good Luck, Maureen
  17. Congratulations.....I hope you get some sleep in the next couple of months!!! How great will it be that when he is running around you will be able to keep up with him (at least for a while anyway LOL)!
  18. It is so exciting!!!! The best part is knowing that tomorrow the scale will still be heading in the right direction!! Congratulations!
  19. Chris.....I am so with you! Instead of torture we could just be-head them on TV and all sit around and cheer like they do!!! I am sorry but we are at war, it seems that people forget. I just visited the 911 memorial and even I had forgotten (I did not think I had) but when you get to that hallowed ground and see all the pictures and the faces....its horrific all over again. It is sooo powerful to stand there and feel all of the strength of this nation....the good strength, the 30,000 volunteers who came to help and the people that got turned away because there were too many volunteers. The bucket brigades and the people who gave up their lives to try to help others.....that is what we are fighting for over there to keep this country safe from those people who hate us and want to break that spirit. After 911 we saw what makes this country great and now we forget and want to punish our troops for doing their jobs!! I am sorry...I need to stop! I am not a writer but I think you get my point!
  20. "Hey you're fat!" Yay for you....I cannot wait to join you!!!! Congratulations!!!! Your weight loss has been fantastic!!!!! Your band sister, Maureen
  21. I really like Romney....I am from Mass and I thought he was great in office here, not perfect but who is???? I like that he does not have a million cronies that he owes favors too. He does not bring all the political hacks with him. He and Rudy are my 2 choices....
  22. Thats a great idea....instead of throwing your money away in 3 different places you can consolidate and throw it away all at once!!! You are funny!
  23. I think your heart is in the right place but I have to agree that most people would just be hurt.
  24. Maybe you did not see that I said the Patriots will WIN the superbowl, and yes I do think it will be The Cowboys vs the Patriots.
