I want to help give a hand to anyone who is UNABLE to work and have the means to provide for their family.....I am a human being for gods sake! I just do not want to pay for 3rd generation welfare families or illegals that commit crimes over and over again. I know some illegals are hard workers but.....so am I. I have to pay half of what I make to the government....maybe if I didn't have to I would donate to more charities. I would spend it the way I see fit....to better this planet but when I have to pay taxes when I earn it, taxes when I spend it and if there is any left to save....taxes when I save it. The system is broken. You are right....I would like to help the less fortunate in any way I can.....I just do not think that the less fortunate are the ones benefiting from my hard earned dollars. It is the people that know how to work the system, the junkies and the alcoholics and the people who are here illegally that I am paying for. Check out some of my other post...I have donated clothes to people in need, suits to a charity that will give them to women getting back into the work force after leaving shelters etc. Okay I am starting to rant and I do not want to. Just do not judge me because I think the government is broken.

Here in Boston we say some things that are (from what I hear) different. We go down the cellar ( means in the basement). We are always "all set". My mothers sister is my ahhhnnnt not ant. Bathroom....baahhthroom. Half of the people say haalllf, not half. We leave our R's off of most words but then add them in places where they do not belong like idea becomes idear and sawing becomes sawring..... Things can be wicked good or wicked bad. But we are all part of Red Sox Nation!!! The Patriots are on their way to the supa bowl too! Before we go to Fenway Pahk....we have a fluffanutta sandwich! Go Red Sox!

I am down about 50 lbs and I have too many to list but I will give you a few. Going to my closet and having nothing to wear because everything is too big instead of too small! Noticing that I run up the stairs....multiple times in a row, and not gasping for air! Entering a meeting in a function room and not thinking everyone is looking at how fat I am.....they are just looking to see who entered. Looking at a plate of food (turkey club) and thinking OMG I cannot believe that I used to eat like that!! Bending to tie my shoes and not worried that I cannot breathe! Crossing my legs....that feels so good! To be continued.................

In Boston there is a place to drop off suits that get donated to people that were formerly homeless and going for job interviews. They get one suit and after they land the job, they get one or two more. I will try to find the name for you. It is ________ (womens name) closet. There may be something like that in your area. Its a great charity that helps people get their life back together. Good Luck, Maureen
