  1. Hi pink, my fitness pal is a great web site and app for smart phones! It is a way to track your daily food/calories/protein etc. I love it and it helps keep me on track. If you have a smart phone just search my fitness pal or go to the web site myfitnesspal.com. You can add friends to your name. My name is the same as on here. Ibehere10!
  2. Hi all, nice to see so many Sept ladies on here!! I was 9/10 and doing well . I have done pretty good over the holidays, so far ! As another gal posted , I fill up on protein to avoid letting my sweet tooth dictate what I eat! Only sweets I have had is the sugar free pumpkin pie without eating the crust! Just a couple of teaspoon fulls satisfy me. I truly hope each of you have a wonderful year ahead!! For anyone using My fitness pal my name is "ibehere10". Thanks for the support and for frequently lifting my spirits!!
  3. Great support on here ! Have been able to do searches to get info on various issues and the people have been great. I am 4 months out on 1/10. Are you using my fitness pal ?
  4. Moved to purée at three weeks after surgery. First wk was clear liquids second and third full liquids.
  5. Absolutely!! Best gift I ever have myself!!
  6. At three mo this I am suppose to be eating at least 1000 calories a day with the focus to be getting at least 65 grams of protein in!! Good luck
  7. Count every single pound!!! Lol we worked hard to get rid of it pre and post surgery!!!!
  8. Wonderful on the loss and starting the exercise. I am hitting the gym at least three times a week and love how I feel after a good work out!! Good luck☺
  9. Hi Maurice, welcome and congrats on your sleeve. I had surgery on 9/10/12 and still have to take small amounts of fluid or I get pain and feel nauseous . Some people seem to be able to gulp quickly, hang in it will get better!!
  10. It is frustrating that every doc and nut have such varied interpretations of the various diet. All I know is that I followed what my doc and nut have told me and I am doing well with the loss in lbs and inches!! Congrats on your sleeve!!!!!!
  11. I have found that when Ian not losing lbs I am losing inches. Have gone from a jean size of 22/24 to 16/18 depending on the brand. Have never felt better in my life. When I do feel down I take a picture of myself and compare to the pics taken shortly before surgery in Sept and that fixes my blues!!!!!
  12. Welcome! This site has been a god send for me. Such valuable info and the support of those who are either going through the early stages with you and that of those who are the vets on here!! Good luck in your journey
  13. Sure hope everyone is having a great holiday season! I am doing great and making every effort not to stray too far from my eating plan!! Have to say I will be glad when all the cookies and such go aeay
  14. I am waiting for the shedding to begin as well. I keep hoping it won't but it seems most wls people go through this. Will be 4 months on Jan 10!!
  15. I am 15 weeks out and have not had any outbreaks yet and usually I have it on multiple spots at this time if year!!
  16. I am RH negative , doc never mentioned it nor has any of the other surgeons who have operated on me. Only issue for RH negative women can be with childbirth and the problem is not necessarily for the Mommy but for the baby if the baby is positive. I believe that is the issue anyway
  17. Congrats, what an inspiration !!
  18. I was wiped out the first two weeks. We have to remember that it is MAJOR surgery and your body has been traumatized. Get your fluids in and allow yourself time to heal, everything else can wait!! This is your time!!!
