  1. Yes my surgeon gave us that card but I have yet to have to show it. I believe servers are aware now days of wls and/or food restrictions so much that they are happy to help you order what you need.... But it is nice to have...
  2. Your internal staple line is not healed at four weeks. Your stomache internally takes 6 to 8 weeks to resolve swelling and irritation. Leaks are found as far out as three months. As general guide is three months, I say general because we all heal at different rates.

  7. you've lost 20 lbs that wont be coming back. you're doing good; we all stop and start our weight losses but we do all lose.. some of us stalled a full six weeks but we didn't gain and we definitely started losing again. *hugs* ive felt this way as well but always remember the weight amount you've lost not the days/ weeks intervals u lost it. the bigger picture is the amount lost and your doing fantastic

  10. Jenn, that's great, you are that much closer to a new life. Think positive and use this time to buy what you will need after surgery. It's so much better to have it all there when you need it. Buy some great reading material and never forget that the healing period after surgery is temporary and for that period of time devote yourself to giving yourself and your body what it needs. Best of luck to you
