Change of body
Thanks for posting this. I have come to accept that I am going to have body issues...fat and thin. I have also come to accept that being thin will not make me automatically happy. There are lots of aspects to that! Maybe you should talk to someone about your new body issues? Maybe that would help clear your head about it? Congrats on the amazing weight loss!

bye bye to the old me...

I am more hungry now than before my fill. What is going on?
Maybe make an appointment with your nutritionist? It's possible you aren't taking in enough calories and need to stretch them out during the day? It's worth the inquiry. It sounds like you are doing great though!

St. Pete/Bradenton/Sarasota area?
Feeling anxious is all normal. The minute I walked into the surgery center I am pretty sure I hyperventilated....lol. Some quick meds in my IV and I was completely fine. You will do great. Does your surgeon require a pre-op diet?

Temperature Control Issues
Cold here too! I told my hubby it's because I am not eating or hoarding winter weight like a hybernating bear anymore. Socks and sweatshirts work for me as well.

General Unwell Feeling-Only Lasts a Day
Incisions all look fine. But I will call the doc tomorrow and see what they say. Again, I feel completely fine today. Just odd. Thanks

Newbie
I took the time before the surgery and really started to pay attention to how fast I ate, chewed, etc. I started practicing with paying attention to bite size and chewing my food well. This seems to have benefited me after the band! Congrats!!

General Unwell Feeling-Only Lasts a Day
So yesterday, I woke up feeling overall unwell. I had some nausea in the morning where I took an anti-naseau pill (petrified that I would vomit). This helped and calmed the urge most of the day. A bit achy, tired, and a dull pain around my port area. I kept eating very light as I had no appetite. Protein shake, Soup, etc. I also took some Tylenol for the aches. This too helped. Normally, I would just feel like I was coming down with something but this "general unwell" feeling only lasts a day and it happened a few weeks ago as well. Similiar symptoms...only lasted a day. Could I have eaten something "the day before" that caught up with me the next day? I haven't been stuck or even mildly stuck. I haven't been filled yet. I have been sticking to the rules. I just find it odd and wanted to know if anyone has ever experienced this one day "unwell" feeling?

ups and downs
I think we all have very high expectations, especially in the early months. But your doing well....very well. 2lbs a week is really all you can ask for at this point. Congrats!

When can I get a fill?
My doc waits 6 weeks. Honestly, this is a time for healing not really weight loss. Keep reading....the veterans have great advice about this and PATIENCE has alot to do with it. This was hard for me to resign to...but I'm glad I did because it just helps me focus on what I need to be doing....which is ....eating slowly, taking small bites, choosing better foods, etc. Have a great day!

I feel it in my clothes but it's awesome when people actually see it on you. My brother had a great reaction...he said "your face is so thin....your beautiful"! It almost made me cry. Keep up the great work!

Sounds like you are doing awesome!! I agree......"the easy way...my a*%." This takes work, recovery, and sheer determination.

Dream, dream, dream..........
Yes all normal. I had dreams of steak and mashed potatos during the pre-op liquid phase. It's your brain letting go of the emotional connection to food. This same thing happened when I quit smoking too. Your posts make me laugh! Glad your doing well!
