Newbie

Hello all!! My name is Rayvon..I have been approved for the band back in December 2012 right before Christmas but had to put it off until May the 9th. 2013(band date) because I am in school and I couldn't miss any days this semester. I am excited, nervous, happy and overjoyed. .The closer it gets to May the more nervous I get...any type of pre op pointers are greatly appreciated..thanks!!

Best wishes Rayvon. I like your name!

Welcome back. The best advice is follow your doctor and or dietitian. Every person on this site will say the same thing and every doctor has their own rules to go by. You will be great.

I took the time before the surgery and really started to pay attention to how fast I ate, chewed, etc. I started practicing with paying attention to bite size and chewing my food well. This seems to have benefited me after the band!

Congrats!!
