  1. I'm sure OTR does. He knows his protein. And if he bought a million cases you can GUARANTEE it is good for you!
  2. Yup! Get those shakes in. I make mine as pudding or with a lot of ice like ice cream so I can eat it with a spoon. Makes me feel like I'm actually eating food if I can eat with a spoon! Glad to help any way we can. We are all in this together. No worries about failure! After surgery, you will be fully on board! :-)
  3. You have plenty of time to help your surgeon. Watch the hidden carbs on those salads (dressing!) and those bars you are eating are carb loaded.
  4. If you must cheat, my dr said to stick to eggs, meat, cheese. ZERO carbs please. This is important to shrink your liver for the surgeon to pick up out of the way. Some instances of unshrunk livers have resulted in liver laceration by the tool they use to lift it. People have died from that. Please try to stick to diet as best you can. I know it's hard but you can do this! But definitely cut the carbs. Much love. ❤
  5. Someone else posted it on obesity help too. :-( Selfish buttheads telling everybody! :-(
  6. I eat Carb Master yogurt at Kroger. Carbs are less than 4 & you get 8 protein!
  7. I don't understand. What exactly do I need to do go get them for $7 a case? Cuz even with 8 in my cart they say $33.99 Help!!
  8. Bwahahahaha. OTR honk & wave next time. :-)
  9. Lol. I did that at Kroger in the mirrored coolers. Scared myself half to death & jumped back to let "her" get her yogurt first. Then realized it was moi!
  10. That's what mine said too. And I had to use that awful smelly antibacterial body wash. O_o
  11. Oh MMM gee!! I'm literally cracking up. Then I unbuckled my seat belt & pulled up my shirt (probably flashed a semi truck driver!). Yup. My scars are right under my boobs. So yeah.......they taped my girls. Bwahahahaha. Unless them falling into my arm pits when I'm flat qualifies as "out of the way"!
  12. Sorry I took so long to reply. My days are pretty consistent. I never drink anything but Water, shakes & coffee. My Protein went from 70 early on, up to 100 grams. My doctor said my workouts require more protein. Up until 6 months out I was getting 500-600 calories with 70-90 protein. After that my dr wanted my protein higher & calories at 1000-1300. I've been working out since 6 months Pre-surgery (other than the 6 week after surgery break). I'll post pics of my average days from MFP. (If you want to see more of my food diaries, My FitnessPal user name is KristieAtkinson, please add me!) I'm currently drinking over 100 ounces of water daily. This has really helped my body shed some water weight I was holding.
  13. It sounds like you are doing very well! My surgery date was 5-18-12. My starting weight was 338. I lost 50 pre-surgery & was 288 DOS. I'm also 5'7. My jeans size was a size 30 & shirt size a 30/32. I'm currently at 195, a size 12 jeans & large tops. I do have an excessive amount of skin on my stomach. I knew that would be an issue going in tho. It's nice to "bump into" someone with VERY similar numbers. It makes me feel better about my slow loss. (Yes, 143 pounds is a lot but 50 of that was Pre-surgery.) Kristie
  14. It is a change in how deep he can go now. Certain positions can get a little uncomfortable for me now. I have found a vibrator on my clit (can i SAY that??) will distract me from the discomfort & increase my pleasure. I know.....TMI! ????
  15. I started at 338 5'7 Pre-surgery. DOS (5-18-12) 288 Current: 195 That's 143 pounds gone! I still have about 40 to go to get to my goal. Maybe 30 + skin reduction surgery.
  16. I was a 46/44 C. After the first 50 pounds I was down to a B. now I'm in a 36 C (with airbags!) but my understanding is that if you go down in band sometimes you have to go up in the cup. Cause I tell you my girls are like a B flat. O_o
  17. I have lost 142 pounds & I do have loose skin. Mostly my stomach area. My arms are in good shape. But the skin is live able. It's not restricting me. I will eventually have it removed but overall my health is 100% better than it has ever been. Skin be damned at least the fat is gone!
  18. That sounds wonderful! Thanks for sharing.
  19. I think obtaining is probably best for now. Eventually when you can have it I would sneak in a pre popped 100 calorie pack. That's what I do because movie theater popcorn is SO bad & it is a slider food for me as well. If I bring in a healthier option I don't eat too much of the bad stuff. Good luck sweetie, I'm glad you are so open to others feedback. This shows a great desire to be successful. When that drive is stronger than your desire to eat what you want, versus what you should, you will have a better shot of reaching your goal.
