  1. My all time favorite work out song is "Remember the Name" by Fort Minor. Great beat & super motivating lyrics. What are your favorite tunes for the gym? :-)
  2. I love all the Mio flavors but my favorites are the Mango Peach & the Blueberry Lemonade.
  3. I posted a great recipe on here for tuna patties. They are delicious.
  4. I found the Au Jus gravy in a jar where the rest of the jar gravy was. I had it on the list but just happened to look down & see it.
  5. I confess that: * sometimes I miss ICE CREAM!!! * I compare myself to others success & get really frustrated cuz I've been working SO hard & some are able to just let the surgery do the work. * I second guess if I picked the right surgery when I am stalled (which is a lot!) * I also weigh myself several times a day. * I struggle to see the new me in the mirror. All I see is the BIG me. Even buying smaller clothes cannot convince me to SEE. * I'm terrified that I will never get the rest of this weight off.
  6. 338 before Pre-op diet 1-18-12 288 on surgery date 5-18-12 (-50 pounds!) 239 8-7-12 Goodbye 99 pounds!!! Can't wait to break 100 pounds lost & then get to onederland. :-)
  7. I didn't use chili oil. I couldn't find it either. Just made the meat like regular taco meat.
  8. I made turkey with taco seasoning. A layer of meat, a layer of Queso, a layer of black Beans, a 2nd layer of taco meat, sliced avacado & top with shredded taco cheese. After its done, I added salsa & FF sour cream. :-)
  9. Here's an updated picture at 97 pounds. :-)
  10. I made these tonight & thought I would share. Delicious! And good for you smushy food eaters. :-) http://www.simplyrecipes.com/recipes/tuna_patties/
  11. I liked lasagna ones but I LOVED the taco ones! Throw a little FF sour cream & salsa on it & it's delicious. Ooh! And a little Avacado. Yum!
  12. I didn't pay attention to a lite version. :-/ But the stats say: Serving size is 3 pieces (3 sliders) 60 grams 140 calories Fat: 1.5 Sodium: 380 Total carb: 26g Dietary fiber: 4 g Sugars: 2 g Protein: 8
  13. Thanks y'all! I've got almost 100 pounds still to get to goal but, wow! This feels great. At this point I'm blowing out of clothes really quick. I know that it's about to get SUPER hard.
  14. May 18th: went into surgery @ 288 Down to 241 today. -47 pounds. Size 18. Pre-surgery diet dropped 50 pounds. Started at 338 & size 30. Down 97 pounds & 6 sizes. I work out 5 days a week.
  15. I started lifting & exercising 5 months before my surgery. I lost 50 pounds Pre op. I exercised 5 days a week for about an hour & a half. 30-45 minutes on elliptical or treadmill & 45 minutes on weights. I do low weights with lots of repetition so I don't build bulk, just toning. I bounced back quickly after surgery. Walked at the hospital every hour (when I woke up to pee) & kept walking when I got home. I struggled a week after I got home cuz I couldn't walk far without getting exhausted. After 6 weeks my doctor cleared me to go back to my regular exercise program. I'm down 47 pounds since surgery. Date: 5-18-12. So, 97 pounds total. And down 6 sizes in clothes. :-)
  16. Have you guys tried these? The Flat Out sliders are perfect serving sizes for us.
  17. I use 1 vanilla Protein shake scoop, Splenda, sugar free French vanilla creamer & a half a package of Starbucks via. I mix with 6 oz of Water in a Blender Bottle. Shake shake shake & add ice. Delicious!! This is my favorite recipe so far.
