  1. Have y'all tried these? I get them at Kroger Marketplace. They make them fresh in the Deli. Kim's Magic Pop is available in plain, onion, strawberry, cinnamon. I eat them with spreadable cheeses like laughing cow or peanut butter when I need a little crunch. Way better than rice cakes cause they are made from wheat & brown rice. 15 calories, 25 sodium & only 3 carbs!!
  2. What about iron & calcium? Iron can make you tired. What is your protein at?
  3. I've lost 143 pounds (50 of that during pre-op diet.). When I get to goal of 160, I will have lost 178 pounds. I think it's doable but it may not happen in under a year. I'm 11 months out & think it will take me until 18 months to get there. But I do not think I will get there by being one of those that "walk around the block" for exercise. Many get to goal that way, but my body is fighting me & I work out hard. (Also, I'm 5'7, & down from a size 30/32 to a medium & size 11/12.) Good luck! You can do this!
  4. I haven't really had problems with exhaustion since I got my Protein & Vitamin levels up. How is your protein & vitamin intake?
  5. My numbers consistently dropped up until 6 months. After that its been slow going. I also had a 3 week stall at week 3 & at 3 months for over a month! Don't be discouraged into making bad choices. Clean up your menu & up the exercise, you will see some movement!
  6. I will hit my one year on may 18th. I've been stuck at the same weight since January. I've tried the 5 day reset, liquids, zero carbs, upping exercise. Nothing has made the scale move from 195 (sometimes it bounces up a few pounds!). I'm down 143 pounds but I'm still so far from 160, it's frustrating! The last couple days my body has acted like it might start moving again. We shall see. I feel better seeing so many ^^^^ that have had the same problem. Our bodies may just be taking a wee break.
  7. I'm scheduled to have a corset trunkplasty on May 28th. Basically it cuts across under both breasts, straight down center of belly, around belly button, & straight across hip to hip. It's like a big capital I. It gets all the skin & excess fat from breasts to hips. Then he pulls in, around, up & down & sews it all up.
  8. I'm 5'7. Starting weight: 338 DOS: (5-18-12) 288 Current weight: 195 Total lost: 143 pounds. 25 pounds & corset trunkplasty to get to goal.
  9. This study shows that rats with sleeve versus rats with RNY have better test results. http://endo.endojournals.org/content/early/2013/04/03/en.2012-2130.abstract?rss=1
  10. Thank you! I was thinking how alive you look, your eyes are sparkling now!
  11. I'm right there with you on taking pictures now. I used to avoid pictures like the plague!
  12. Girl, don't listen to what people say. Plastic surgeons like $$$ and if yours is green, you can find one to do it for you. You just need to ask yourself if you want to pay & then have kids. If you don't care, why would the surgeon? Best of luck to you!
  13. I have to agree. I love food. We all do. We have to eat to live. And it tastes good. But some don't want to admit they have a problem. This could hold them back or cause them to be a regain statistic. We have to face our demons & learn a healthier way to live or we are doomed to repeat our history. So, I stand with y'all to say, " I'm Kristie, and I'm a food addict. "
  14. Just like Grammy says, it will pass. I should know, I'm the Queen of Stalls. You can see my multiple frantic posts about stalls. Lol! I spend more time stalled than losing but it all adds up. Posting my before/current & my new phone screen saver, I keep chanting this mantra to myself! (been floating between 195 & 205 since JANUARY!)
  15. I just found out the plastic surgeon is planning in removing part/most of my mons pubis when he does my corset trunkplasty. I thought mine wasn't that bad o_0 I am glad he will be fixing it at the same time, I wouldn't have realized it was a problem until after he removed my big a$$ apron. I haven't seen my va jay jay in so long, I couldn't identify her in a line up!
  16. I can NOT be the only person sleeved in May of 2012. Any ideas how to find my sleeve buddies?
  17. You look like a completely different person! So happy for you!
  18. You look awesome & are doing SO well! You inspire me to keep going! Keep pushing! Keep trying & not give up!
  19. I stalled at 3 weeks out for 3-4 weeks. It will pass soon!
  20. Are there really no other May 2012 sleevers? :-/
  21. Thank you! I'm very excited! A 6/8 want even in my wildest dreams!
