Corset trunkplasty
- One year later, here I am.
I started saving tax returns for 2 years when I found out I was finally going to be able to have the sleeve. Smartest thing I've ever done.- Corset trunkplasty
It's still pretty painful but it gets a little better every day.- One year later, here I am.
Oh yes. Even with the drain & pain, it was well worth it.- One year later, here I am.
You are welcome. It really looks even better in person. It's such a huge difference without the hanging apron- One year later, here I am.
I'm still really swollen (and my thighs are a hot mess! ) but this is what I look like after the surgeon removed 12 pounds of skin from my stomach. From 200 pounds to 188. Looking forward to more swelling coming off. Also the drain needs to come out. I promise to take better pictures later. - Corset trunkplasty

Thank you all! I'll post more pictures now that I've had the skin removed. Kristie- Mayday mayday mayday! :-)
I'll have to post more pictures when I'm feeling better from my corset trunkplasty. I can't get over how tiny I look now that the 12 pounds of excess skin is gone!- One year later, here I am.
Thank you so much! I'll post updated pics after my plastics on the 28th.- One year later, here I am.

To be honest, I asked my Bariatric surgeon who he recommended. Then I did research on the local plastic surgeons, & ended up choosing my surgeons recommendation.- One year later, here I am.
5-18-13 & it had been exactly one year since I had my vertical sleeve gastrectomy. At my highest weight, I was 358, at the start of my pre-op diet, I was 338, on the day of surgery, I was 288. Today, I'm 193 pounds. (I'm 5'7) From a size 30 jeans, 30/32 tops to a MD top, & size 12 jeans. May 28th I will have my corset Trunkplasty to remove my excess stomach skin. My surgeon estimated 15-18 pounds of skin & from a 12 to an 8. Mentally, I struggle everyday because I feel like I should be smaller. But I've been exercising HARD since my 6 month pre-op diet, following my surgeons plan to a T. Not much else I could've done. I just have to love myself & where I am, but I'm going to keep on pushing towards my goal! Kristie- Isopure omg!
I got mine on Amazon & at my Bariatric dr.- Isopure omg!
Jessie, have you tried the- Corset trunkplasty

I'm starting to get SUPER nervous! I meet for the final time with the surgeon tomorrow, then it's 13 days to surgery. O_0 PS: I spoke to the surgeon & he also tacks the stomach muscles during the corset trunkplasty like they do with a Tummy tuck. He says that after being very heavy or having children your ab muscles drop & need to be put back in place. That is supposed to be the most painful part of the surgery recovery wise but I know I need it done! Kristie- Sleevers over 300lbs?
- Gotta bill for my surgery...
That's not bad at all. I paid my copay & a month after surgery it was refunded cause the insurance paid more than the "agreed" insurance amount. That's right, my surgery was "FREE"!!- How much weight loss to expect?
- Hair loss... My story
I lost a lot of hair from 4 months to 9 months even though I was taking all my Vitamins, Biotin & getting all my Protein in. It finally started coming back at around 9-10 months. I have lots of baby hair. I tried Nioxin, garner fructis fight fall. None helped. I did notice clear hair shampoo & conditioner helped me a little. It's $5 at Walmart & feeds the scalp. Best of luck! I can tell you, I freaked out too but it was well worth it. Kristie - One year later, here I am.
