Has anyone looked into having a Corset Trunkplasty? It looks like it would cover a lot more then just a regular tummy tuck. Anyone have any idea on pricing here in the states or Mexico.

ok I have never heard of this trunk corset deal and I am quite immersed in the plastics world right now.

I have heard of it, not by that name. What I have found doing my research is that most tummy tucks include the "corset" procedure, at least the dr's in Mexico do. Are you a member of "sassy sleevers" on FB? We've been discussing it on there.

I'm scheduled to have a corset trunkplasty on May 28th. Basically it cuts across under both breasts, straight down center of belly, around belly button, & straight across hip to hip. It's like a big capital I. It gets all the skin & excess fat from breasts to hips. Then he pulls in, around, up & down & sews it all up.

Who is doing this procedure for you? Is it in the states, and how much? What is recovery time like?

Dr. Bass in Lexington Ky. Including facility cost, anesthesia & surgeon fees, $8600. The recovery is significant. He said it will be 1-2 weeks before I feel like leaving the house & 6-8 weeks before I can go back to the gym. I've taken "before" pictures & I plan to post those & the after pictures for y'all.
