Thank you! Yes I am still healing. If I had to guess I'm holding 3-4 pounds of swelling still.- size 8's!
I had a corset trunkplasty which is all of the skin from below the breasts down to the hips. It also includes tummy tuck muscle tightening. I had a lot of skin (12 pounds on my belly alone!) Since I've been big for over 15 years. At my highest weight I was 358 pounds.- size 8's!
I use the phone app too. I'm 5'7.- size 8's!
Thanks so much! I'm starting to feel even better about my progress.- size 8's!

Woohoo! Gastric sleeve surgery 5-18-12. From a size 30 jeans and size 30/32 top to a size 8 jeans & size MD top. From 338 to 181. When I put the 8's on, and they fastened , I seriously sat in the fitting room floor and cried! The sleeve is the best thing I've ever done for myself. I would beg anyone who is struggling with their weight, do not wait, do it for YOU! Kristie - no carb tortillas
Uhm.....yes, please!! http://slimpalate.com/cauliflower-tortillas-paleo-grain-free-gluten-free/- How Long After Surgery Did You Take Pain Meds For?
I came home with liquid lortab after my surgery. I took it for one day & weaned myself off. I had two c sections so the pain from the sleeve was minimal compared to those. I think this is a personal decision based on your personal pain tolerance. But don't be a hero. If you need it, ask for it. Hope you feel better soon.- after wls
Thank you! It was rough but I am starting to get better.- after wls
I had a corset trunkplasty 2 weeks ago because I lost over 150 pounds & needed skin removed from the upper, middle & lower stomach. Its a more extensive scar than the tummy tuck scar. (It goes under both breasts, straight down my belly & hip to hip) However the super tiny scars from my sleeve and 1/2 my stretch marks are now gone. Lol.- Hair loss
Mine lasted from about month 4 to between 9 and 10. I was getting all of my Protein, taking all my Vitamins, and was taking Biotin from my pre op diet on. I tried nioxin, fight fall shampoo & everything else that has been suggested. Nothing worked. And my hair was thin to start with. It just stopped on it's own. I now have tons of little baby hairs at the roots. I wish I had better advice. I can tell you the 155 pounds I've lost is well worth the hair loss.- Compression gear
Not that I'm aware of & I'm quite sure Under Armour would have mentioned that to me. I trained their product for 13 years. But I love it & I'm so glad I can wear it now.- Compression gear
I used to sell Under Armour. Its purpose is to wick moisture and compression. The benefit of compression is that it compresses the muscles & restricts blood flow to the muscle covered by the garment. This helps reduce muscle fatigue. I don't know that compression garments help with excess skin other than it holds it all in.- Mayday mayday mayday! :-)
Thank you! I am getting a little bit better every day. Since I had the surgery I'm down 15 pounds (he removed 12 pounds of skin). I had my surgery in Lexington Ky. I'm just not comfortable going to Mexico for something so major. Kristie- A whale of a tale...
Congratulations on making this decision. What would you like to know?- One year later, here I am.
Thank you so much! I'm finally starting to like what I see.- Before and After Pics

Thank you! Im 5'7. I'm still 40+ pounds from a normal bmi for my height. I would definitely say that my tough exercises 5-6 days a week with the high protein diet that has led to where I am. The surgeon estimates me to be a 6/8 now that the skin is gone so my BMI & weight doesn't make much sense to him.- Mayday mayday mayday! :-)
