  1. {{{HUGGGGS}}} Welcome! I am so excited to watch your growth (shrinkage) and your transformation!
  2. Counting down the days...I know that's a key for me
  3. Congrats you look simply amazing thank you for sharing- such an inspiration!
  4. I have this same issue- and I'm only one week post op- full liquids:(
  5. LOL all you ladies crack me up! So cute. SSUOA sleeved straw users if America or the world!
  6. That was one of the hardest things for me to do- that and my video blog made me do sad to see myself like that - hang in there!
  7. I was told yes gum -(just don't swallow it- how often do adults swallow their gum) yeah- and to USE a straw because it actually cuts down on air intake every one is different though and seems like surgeons/nuts are too!
  8. Honey try chewing on a peice if gum- just be very careful not to swallow it:) It worked for me- I am right where you are today one week out
  9. I am experiencing the exact same thing 6 days out! My suggestion was what Phi Phi said, word for word, from my surgeon~ I know mine is not gas, I felt the whole gas thing, and had it gone by the first day or two. Id like to keep up with you, and see when yours subsides. Are you covering your stitches KCCGN? I was instructed to leave mine uncovered, except for an extra one that I have from having my GB taken out at the same time.
  10. Great answers ladies, I hope to hear more. I just had my VSG and my gall bladder removed on May 15. I "go" about 8-10 times a day, and it's always colorful! I am hoping things even out soon~ I don't want to have to run to a bathroom every single time I take a bite to eat or a sip. This morning, was the first time I tried even a tiny bit of a protein shake that contains milk, and it literally shot out of my body! I was not a happy girl! I know I have to try to get some more in, to see if I am lactose intolerant, guess I plan for an evening at home! pfff!
  11. Congrats to you! That's just amazing!
  12. I really hope you start to feel better soon! I am almost one week out, and I feel for you!
  13. I am so so so happy and blessed to report that my feet do not hurt anymore at all! I had such bad edema and plantar facitis, I was seeing a physical therapist 2 days a week for the pain! Pain is GONE! 21lbs down, and I am feeling very good about my surgery! I have a slight feeling that this is going to be the very best investment I have ever made in myself!
