My Story, Quick Hello

Hello everyone, This is my first post. I am 4 weeks out after having the surgery on April 30th. I have to admit I am feeling good. Getting into a good rhythm when it comes to eating and drinking. I am in the pureed stage and everyday its a little better. I am not sure how much weight I have lost, my post op exam is tomorrow and I am excited to see where I am. I started out at 567 the day I went to my initial surgical consult and when I left the hospital I weighed 521 so I use that as my starting weight.

I am 30 years old and have been trying to get this surgery approved by one insurance company after another when I had private insurance as well throughthte state of Florida which resulted in a lot of hoop jumping but very little action,

I finally got it approved with new insurance with my current employer and I couldn't be happier about.
