i freeze at work mainly because they keep it fridget but i am anemic and hence why i am colder than most..sucks for sure its the same for me at my highest weight, now or when i wasnt obese- Who had problems with sagging skin after weight loss?
i asked my hub this......does he care if i am saggy? he said he'd take sag over the scale saying 300+ pounds..... and wouldnt you know, i think the very same thing.. its based on age, the amount of weight on has to lose, genetics etc.. you can tone or you can have surgery or you can learn to love what you are..- partying
sometimes one has to make the decision to take care of oneself over anything else...drinking til one vomits is wrong and stupid....but def enjoy yourself...just be mindful that with the lap band. in my eyes, some things are just not worth the risk- Anyone out there just broke under 200lbs?
not yet....but am within spitting distance.....congrats to you- Who am I if I'm not fat?
i will never be (skinny) but i will be healthy in my eyes, there is a difference- Eating at Outback tomorrow with the family
dont overthink it ms donna (you make me want to give you a big hug everytime i read a post from you)...go to wherever, sit down, and then order what YOU want and enjoy every bite.....- Confession time...I'm ashamed
to fail means quit, give up, eat and say f**k it and keep eating like elcee said, lighten up on yourself no one is perfect no food is off limits..you are losing,,,,,so what if its 2 or 3 or whatever pounds..as long as you are losing, who cares how long it takes you... ps: i splurge once a week on something i want and then i am right back on my healthy lap band life........hang in there...- Any advice would be great. im on 2nd day post op
any advice, to hang in there and know each day that passes, it will get better..keep sipping, keep moving and rest when you need to....congrats on your surgery- hungry
drink alot........sf popsicles and enjoy the protein shakes- Hamburger?
i eat lean beef 3 or 4 days a week alot of protein and many ways to make it..- Not sure what is going on
well, you didnt get the sleeve, you got the band, so let it work and you do your part by adhering to eating the allotted amounts, eat good quality foods and exercise...its not magic but it does work..- Do you still eat popcorn?
i do sometimes (esp if we go to the movies)...i use those little 100 cal microwave ones...yep its loaded with salt and its processed but every so often wont hurt none- What was the first habit you changed?
my first thing that i HAD to change was my attitude if i went into this (surgery) with a what if i cant, what if that, what if this, i would have been in for a long ride.....the first thing i changed was ME...i told myself if i was able to get my insurance to approve this surgery, and find a great doctor, that i would do whatever it took to help myself..sure i failed in the past and this was my (last stand)..once i changed my attitude from woe is me and i cant to I WANT.....it was game on.......and i can see the end zone from here..- Under 300
- How much is the norm?
based a lot on the person, their weight, their physical (their want power) etc.. my dr told me to do my best and not worry about losing (numbers)..and he is right..as long as you are losing, who cares how much.- Easy Breezy....
great post kime. I speak only for me and in reference, but if I didn't want to lose weight and get healthy, no WLS or gimmick would help. it may help a little but the fire goes out and them boom...so I had to make a choice, much like you wrote....we make our destiny. I firmly believe you either go for it with all your heart and give it a (chance) or you don't....believe...and want it.. - New clothes....
