  1. Betty... My goal weight is 120 lbs. I have about 20 more to go:) I have had 3 fills (total 7CC) and I am satisfied w/about 1-1/2 cups food. I get minor stuck episodes most often in the morning and lunchtime. In the evenings I find I could eat ANYTHING so I must be careful. Other than that I absolutely love my little device! What is your goal? What does a day of eating look like for you?
  2. Betty.... 1st off congrats on your 40 lbs! I too was banded in February and have lost 30 so far. I do not think I would've lost it w/o the band.... Do you?
  3. I have had 3 fills, excellent restriction and I can eat any seafood, no problems:)
  4. Good luck with your unfill Beth! Have a great time in your cruise....have u ever had an unfill before?
  5. My stuck episodes have been minor so far. I'll feel some pressure for a few min then it passes. I've been banded 5 months, and have had 3 fills. I feel like I'm in the perfect spot. BTW my "mini stucks" happen most often early in the day!!
  6. I also had my band in February.. And I also experience the same exact thing! To tell you the truth, I appreciate my band giving me these signs and reminders that it's there... Helps me slow down, appreciate the food, and stop while I'm ahead. I think were good! However, if after a few more days the fill hasn't settled and u feel pain while eating u may want to call the doc. Best of luck!!!!!
  7. Marci you rock! Thank you sooooo much! I will start gathering my ingredients ASAP!
  8. Thank you for your replies Cocoa and B-52... I haven't seen you guys around in a while!! Glad you are doing wonderful:)

  11. It's like a chocolate "souffle" in a little ceramic bowl.. ( just the right portion) and it comes with a scoop of vanilla ice-cream on the side.... The cake is piping hot so when you mix the two it just melts.... OMG MY MOUTH IS WATERING!!!
  12. I have had 3 fills total and each one was 2.5 cc. I DEFENITELY feel restriction after fill #3. good luck to you!
  13. OMG that chocolate melting cake was to die for!! My husband and dad ordered it every single night and I would usually steel a bite! Lol Yes, I do agree it is easy to make good choices on cruises just gotta stay strong to avoid all of that delucious evil food available 24 hours!!!!
  14. Ive lost my 2 year old son and some cheese!! LMFAO!!
  15. Lol good luck being good! For breakfast I ate scrambled eggs or a veggie omelet with veggies and cheese, lunch was simple.. Maybe some chips and hummus or a small salad with chicken, then dinner was awesome.... Whatever the dining room was serving that night.. Sirloin, shrimp, lobster, or catch if the day with some veggies and soup. Absolutely delicious, and for dessert they usually have a " diet" option or fresh tropical fruit. I want to go back!!!!
  16. Ok.... Finally got the courage to step on the scale this morning.... I gained 1.8 pounds!!!!! WHEW!! Not too shabby for an 8 day cruise:) I remember in the past gaining 5-7 lbs in a week on a cruise. THANK YOU LAPBAND!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!
  17. Would the tubing then have to be stitched in place so it's not "floating" around? Hmm I wonder....

  23. Hi all:) Just arrived yesterday from an 8 day cruise... YIKES! I'm 5 mths post op and have fairly great restriction.... I can say I made good choices 85% of the time on the cruise.... I do however feel a few pounds piled on. My question is.... Should I wait to weigh myself maybe 1 week or so, or bite the bullet and step on the scale????
  24. I think because you make worse food choices like ice cream, chips, etc that go down easy causing you to gain weight.....
  25. FF is fat free and SF is sugar free:) Good luck on your journey!!
