Today I got my first fill since getting lapband on 6/4/12. Me be 1.6 cc in my band. I was thinking that's nothing. Is this about right for a 1st fill???

Thanks for the post. I'm going on a 7-day cruise in oct and by then I will be 4 months post op. I've been concerned about eating on the cruise and if there will be healthy choices for me. One thing for sure I do not want to have a stuck episode.

Congratulation welcome to the other side. It's gets better follow dr's orders and you will be fine.

Today makes one month since getting the lapband!!!! I'm down 13 lbs total from pre op diet and since surgery. I hope I continue to loose weight. This is a slow process.

Thanks for sharing I have to admit I have been tempted to cheat and press my luck with eating too. I've read post from others on here saying they have no restriction after surgery. I am about 3 weeks post op too. After my follow up visit with the surgeon yesterday he said he put Fluid in my band during surgery. I'm so glad I did not cheat. I'm so afraid of getting stuck.

I'm sorry you aren't feeling well. I haven't had a episode yet but what does it feel like? How will you know you got something stuff. What were you eating?

Just left my appointment I have loss 10lbs since getting banded on 6/4/12. I'm so excited thought the scale would never move. He says slow is best and he only want he to loss 1-2lbs a week. Is this on track with others? Would like to here from others who we banded around the same time that I was.

so how long have you been a bandster I was banded 6/4/12 started mushies this week. I wake up starving. F/U is this wed first visit with surgeon since getting banded. I'm wanting to eat everything but too scared to cheat. Don't want to do any damange you know. I've loss 15 lbs since pre o/p diet and surgery.

Lol this is so funny I didn't get to count. They told me they were putting something in my IV to help me relax, when I woke up I was in recovery. Only thing I remember is being wheeled into the OR and getting on the table.

I'm doing good post op 17 days out since the surgery. I have been starving I guess the swelling is going down now. It's getting harder and harder to follow the rules. I've loss about 14 lbs since starting the pre op diet and surgery can definately tell a difference already.
