Having Problems Staying On Track
I need to see you logging on MFP again too!!! I don't know how you feel about using MFP, but it REEEAALLLYY helps me with the whole "reality check" thing, and you can see right away how destructive your food choices are. And HONESTLY log EVERY bite you take, good or bad. You know we won't judge, just encourage. I ate ice cream yesterday like a fool, and logged it, and saw what it did to my day. Now i don't want it anymore. BLECH. POO POO!!! Get on the stick. We're here. We'll bug you. This is important and we're not going to let you blow it!!!

Me Not So Horny......
PCOS and then the following menopause crashed my libido straight into the ground. Since I've been losing weight and exercising like a fiend, It has come back with a vengeance! I thought it was permanently broken. Are you exercising? You might want to see your doc and he may do some bloodwork or refer you to an endocrinologist for further testing? Could be hormonal. Also, check out this website. There are some great articles and advice as to where to start as far as consulting your doc. http://www.womentowomen.com

Five Years Post Op N Gaining Weight
Does your surgeon have any continuing support groups or followups for past patients? This is going to require you to dig down into the pit of your stomach and remember WHY you wanted the surgery, HOW you felt about your body and your life beforehand, and just...get back to that place where you decided you had to put your health first. Get there, and start over. Like everyone has said...back to the basics. Get on MFP (MY FITNESS PAL) and become accountable to the people on there for what you are eating and what exercise you are doing. Many many people here on VST are on MFP, and would be glad to cheer you on and encourage you. You can do this. Get there. Do it. We got your back. (btw, I'm dooter69 on MFP) Plan your life around your exercise schedule. That is a vital element people relegate to the back seat of their lives. Needs to be front and center. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!

Correlation Between Menopause And Weight Loss?
I'm 42 now and I hit perimenopause at about 38 and full blown at 40. I've had a HECK of a time losing weight in the last 10 years, and coincidentally, that's after my children were all born. I don't what all that means, but this surgery is the first time I've had any success losing weight in years and years.

Sex
My doc said two weeks, and only if you're comfortable. The guys here that have said a smaller amount of time have to remember, they are "top," (ok, typically..) and therefore not as much pressure on the belly!

Defining A Higher Power
Well...it sounds like that's what's been given to you to help you through, and I hope it's doing just that. God is the provider of ALL things, and He gives us what we need if we are His. As for your religion addiction....might I inquire as to what "flavor" so to speak, it was? If you don't want to share that, I understand. Just curious. It's not often people will talk about these subjects without argument or offense, so I'm enjoying this, thanks.

Defining A Higher Power
This is true. My best friend is tormented by anxiety and depression and she is one of the strongest Christians I know. Sanctification (becoming more like Christ) is sometimes a slow process, but is one that God promises us he is working in us. When one is first saved, it's like God has us by the ankles and is shaking all the sin out of our pockets. A lot of it falls right out and away, and some sticks like glue, but the process will continue. Christ has already accomplished these things for us so that if we are in Him, we HAVE the power to not do....whatever it is that needs to be stopped. That does not necessarily mean we will achieve it immediately because we will be fighting our flesh until we die. What we have is HOPE (expected dependancy) that we CAN put off these behaviors and continue to ask God for relief from it, because it is His will that we do not sin. And when we pray according to His will, He will grant us what we ask. It may not always be in our timing, because often times we have something to learn from our situation, and sometimes someone ELSE has something to learn from our situation. I told you....I'll blabber all you want Get me to talkin' about Jesus, and I'll go on and on! I hope any of it makes sense and/or helps.... These are things I have learned and personally understand to be true.

Look What The Fed Ex Guy Brought Me! :)
WOW!! What was THAT for???

Defining A Higher Power
When we are born again in Christ, we are freed from the bondage of sin and death and decay. We have the God-granted ability and power to stop these things. When one is dead in transgression and sin, we are powerless to it. Christ sets the prisoner free in every way.

O.o
I would NOT have let THAT comment go by. What a ......... well...you know!!

Defining A Higher Power
Ok....you asked.... Any "religion" that centers on man and man's power and ability is destined to fail. The one true God of the Bible, who is the sovereign of the universe is the only one worthy of praise and glory. And that is our purpose. To glorify God. It is HIS wrath we are under, and He has gifted us with the answer to that problem through the Lord Jesus Christ because he loves us. God is not a power hungry ogre just waiting to cast us into Hell. He is perfect love and joy waiting with outstretched arms for us to answer His call. We are not banging our fists on the gates of Heaven, wanting to be let in, yet He is keeping us at bay, instead... We are all running as fast and as hard as we can straight for Hell, but in His divine sovereignty and love he stops this one, and this one, and that one, turning us to Him and welcoming us into His family and Kingdom in eternal splendor. That's where I am. I may have never been quite so vocal on this site about this subject, so I may lose friends, but... that's what I think and feel about it. The Holy Spirit confirms this in my soul.

Any Horseback Riders?
I used to ride when I was lighter. Last time i wanted to get on a horse I was surrounded by PETA and the humane society and ejected from the property. (JK) But seriously, I could not torture an animal that way. Who knows though, in 50 more pounds, I may take it up again!!

Always Feel Hungry!?
Eeeehhhh, not so much. That's the nice thing about this surgery. You'd have to be crazy out of control, practically endangering your life to really "stretch" your sleeve. The capacity increases very slightly over like.....a couple of years or something. But no, I don't think you stretched your sleeve. My first two months were VERY hungry. It should get better soon once the Grehlin is more out of your system.
