Quick Question...need Some Calories
Why do you want to go over 800 calories? That is the perfect range to be in. Maybe 1000 on a bad day. If you are still in loss mode that is...

Dealing With Knee Inflammation- Any Suggestions?
Due to my exceedingly crappy health insurance plan with a $5000 deductible, I'm almost entirely out of pocket, so I'm looking for something that will work before i resort to the specialists. My M.D. was like..."well....don't use that knee." (HAHAHA, not really, but it seemed like it...) I was thinking "gee, ortho is not your strongsuit, huh??" LOL I guess he's waiting to see if I REALLY complain about it. Thanks all. Keep 'em coming!

The baby will take EVERYTHING he/she needs from you, leaving you depleted. You must consult your doctor quickly. Have fun! (now go drink some water;) )

Weight Limit For Curves
Cool! I would certainly hope they'd make provision for overweight people!! I am, however, always surprised at certain things that have low weight limits-like....scales that measure body fat. Whaaaaat????

Dealing With Knee Inflammation- Any Suggestions?
Hey all- Put your orthopedic thinking caps on- I've had a problem with my knee since January. I can't bend it past 45 degrees without great pain. I started exercising seriously in December, and in January I got sick and spent a week sleeping in a recliner because of coughing. That jacked up my knee pretty good for some reason. Here's the problem: I can't have steroids because of leaky retinas, and no ibuprofen because my stomach is too sensitive. It feels like i'm trying to eat batteries when I take it. Is there ANY way to get the inflammation down without those two normally useful items?? I use the elliptical almost exclusively because of the non-impact. It would be nice to make use of the knee at other times though. Thanks

Leak Question
The staplers do, on occasion, misfire. It is a very rare incident, but if it misfired on YOU, then it doesn't seem so rare. From what I've seen on here, more leaks are caused by that, or by a band to sleeve revision where there is scar tissue from band problems, or other things the band has done to the stomach, making the sleeve a little riskier for leaks. That said-- I heard "a story" about someone who got the sleeve and did not deal with head and heart issues and went home and ate a whole pizza and died. (That could be urban sleeve legend, I don't know!) Point is-- don't screw around with doc's orders. There's a reason for them, and it is the patient's safety. Also, when there is a small leak, my doc also told me he takes the "wait and see" approach, because more often than not, it will heal on its own. Less surgery is always better. Anethesia and surgery are harder on the body than maybe waiting out a leak. Sometimes they will go in and place a stent until it heals...I've heard it's painful though. I don't know if any of this answers any of your concerns, but...there it is....

Awwwww thanks!!! It's awesome. Never thought I'd see the inside of that dress again!!- Do You Get Taller?
I have heard that the bones and joints compressed by the weight will release and re-lengthen. I don't know if it's true but it seems that I have gotten the half inch back I misplaced some time ago...- The Nsv I've Been Waiting For... (With Pic)
