  1. STOP?!? What is Stop?? LOL Hey, you're in the sweet spot right now where you fart and lose 5 lbs, so take it while you've got it. You already know how to put it back on if you need to, right? As long as you're strong and healthy, get as skinny as you want baby!!! I agree about the skin thing. The body does amazing things when it needs to. It may draw up more than you expect. I'm hoping for that, anyway. Putting a little muscle under it. Who knows!!
  2. OOOOHHHHHHhhhh...WEll shoot, which one of us had good control over those impulses??? Hence the surgery... There were very few of those that I DIDN'T give in to. But I tell you what. This surgery changes that drastically. Even with low "impulse control" or cravings, or whatever you want to call it..... Getting rid of most of the hunger hormone and stomach volume helps so dramatically. Of course you have to do some hard @$$ work, but it's SOOO much easier now.
  3. There's noooooo way you'd have choked those puppies down anyway! Halfway through the first McDouble, you'd be wondering what in tarnation made you think you could do it! That's the good thing about the sleeve. It keeps you in check pretty well. The biggest binge we could pull off would last about 5 minutes. (have you been sleeved yet?)
  4. Hey, gotta keep the marriage exciting!!
  5. Ya call that slow????? DUDE!! That's amazing! You're doing awesomely!!! Not slow a'tall!!
  6. It IS the pain talking. Lord willing, a few months from now, that will be a distant memory and you will be THRILLED with yourself for having the surgery. Many have the buyer's remorse in the hospital bed. I hope you feel better quickly!
  7. WHOAAAAA!!! Look at you!!!! :o
  8. I went back to my piercer and got Tigon spacers in the nips and that was pre-approved by the surgeon, so all was well.
  9. I'm with ya! I WAS the fattest chick in the room EVERY time! I am also having trouble shifting the mindset with such rapid weight loss. I still haven't registered that I'm wearing an 18 and not a 30 and that it DOES look different now! Pretty cool.....pretty cool.
  10. Wow! Three years- you're like the Godfather Sleever around here!! Stick around and let us pick your brain!
  11. Ooohhhh I have black and white labs too! How cute! Oh wait.....I mean--- YOU LOOK GREAT!!
  12. Oooooo that's not good!! Yes!! GOOO!!!
  13. WooHoo!! Saving a spot on the losers bench!
  14. GOOD TO SEE YOU VANCE!
  15. I don't like being the center of attention or discussion, so beforehand I kept it on the downlow, but afterwards, when anyone asks me "what I'm doing" I usually tell them. It's just a matter of what you're comfortable with. I didn't want everyone looking at me with their microscope waiting for something to happen. That's just me though
  16. Yellow skin and/or eyes usually means something to do with the liver, like a little jaundice or something. Related to your pain? No clue. Just throwing that out there. I agree with the "follow your gut" advice. Be a squeaky wheel. You are your best advocate.
  17. They ARE off, and will be for a little while. It normalizes again. A little too well for me in fact. It comes back. Enjoy the assistance while you have it!
  18. "you're too skinny...." Does not compute. Is that english? I don't understand those words put together!! HAHAHA
  19. It's weird...it's kind of "inside" my knee on the left back and I can feel it below and to the left of it down my leg a little.
  20. Ya, you have to chew the dickens out of it if you're sensitive.
  21. The lady giving samples had these going last week. I grabbed a package while i was still chewing! LOL
  22. I'm sure it's differences in philosophy from one doc to the next. At my 4 month visit, I was told to stick to 800 as much as possible. That is where i happen to experience my greatest loss. Much more than that on a consistent basis, and I totally quit losing weight. If I could eat a little more and lose, I would. My metabolism is still getting up to speed.
  23. OH! ok, now don't say "yuck" just yet- Hot dogs. Trader Joe's or some other natural food store will sell you an all beef, uncured, no nitrite hot dog and the calories are through the roof! (maybe 200 per dog) And they are good, at least the ones from TJ's are.
