  1. When is your surgery date? Go on a liquid diet to get to goal weight. You will loose it fast. How much do you have to loose? You can do it if you choose. Being angry isn't going to help you. Unless you work harder when your angry. This doctor is a rule follower and doesn't deviate from the rule it sounds like. So just do it so you can get the miraculous tool to help get that weight off.

    Hang in there!

  2. I went back to work after 10 days and was completely off all pain medications. It wasn't the easiest. Driving to the office, I'd find myself trance like. But it was okay and I made sure that I walked when ever possible. I was fearful of getting a blood clot. ;)

  3. I do something different like exercising, calling a friend, I come to this site to distract myself also. It's not easy but it's not fun to eat too much and my goal is to get healthier by eating healthy foods. Sometimes I do end up eating junk food and feel horribly guilty about the bad choice I made. Oh well, I love my sleeve and am excited about my weight loss. ;) Who knew!

  4. absolutely, but i was addicted to the scale after week 6. I didn't bother weighing myself before that. Now i am staying away from the scale because it was driving me crazy. So I've decided to eat healthy and try not to focus on the scale.

My husband bought some of those devil girl scout cookies from some cute little girl scout. So, I paid him to take them to work and get rid of them. ;) Works for me. He read the nutrition label and seen how much fat 28g was in them and was more than willing. ;)

  5. I do this also. I'm always thinking about what I can eat for my next meal. I just try to keep it simple. Except today, I picked up some meat lover's pizza and my son will cook them tonight. I usually eat 1 bit with crust and then take the topping off. My other problem is I can find all kinds of junk food in my daughter's room and I start to mindlessly take a bite here and there. I plan and telling them that I am struggling with not eating this. I hope they understand. I need to not be snacking anywhere. ;)

  6. I like your self reflection. We are all are worthy people but have also received negative messages about ourselves from other significant people in our lives. We have adopted this since childhood. This is an excellent time to work on these issues. We are worth it. ;)

  7. Wow, the time will come before you know it. I know, you already know this. This is a great time to learn and practice all you can for the real thing. Like practic eating a little less food, taking sips of water, and gaining alot of info from this site. I am saving a spot on the BIG LOSER'S BENCH right next to me. Can't wait till you get here! ;)

  8. Everyone who sees she will be so envious of you girl! They're going to wish that they were loosing weigh too. Go in with you head high and looking beautiful and energized just like that stupid pink rabbit. LOL. You kick ass and keep rockin that sleeve! You might be in a stall, but that's just your body adjusting in inches now..... you wait, the same day you put on your pants, your notice that they have gotten looser since you put them on and that's an amazing NSV. ;)

  9. CONGRATS! It does hurt when you get negative feedback from people that are your best friends. For me, I didn't have alot of pain. The toughest part was getting up where the incision sites were and that was because my muscle was cut into too. It didn't last too long. It wasn't what I think of pain. Just soreness. No big deal. My life right now is so much better. My blood work is excellent. Well, my LDL still needs to decrease from 102 to 100, but I still view that as miracluless! Time to enjoy life, you have a wonderful family and they need a healthy you. Your children want to play with you on the floor. They want to go exercise with you also. This is the time to embrace life and encorporate healthy life skills.

CONGRATS! Can't wait to hear about your progress!
