Ugh - First Actual "setback"

So I tripped and smacked my tummy into the desk (not hard) but it actually opened one of my incisions back up. Its not bleeding or anything - just well, an open incision - so now I gotta go get some more butterflies to get it closed again (I have some on it now but I'll want to be able to keep them on)

If this is my setback then hell yeah - I'll take it! :)

Geeze Louise! Be careful! Yes, best to go in and have them check you out.

Take care.

It could be worst. Glad your ok. Did you put some antibiotic ointment on there? Hope so. Is it painful? Hope not. ;)

Yeah, one of my ports popped open too. It was gross! I didn't even butterfly it. It was the one in my navel, and was such a hard area to butterfly. So just kept it covered with some gauze. Showed one of my daughters who almost threw up! Obviously, she isn't a nurse. but it healed OK, just left a bigger scar, but it's in my navel, and trust me, NOBODY gets to look at my navel! So who cares! Anyway, hope you are doing OK, and have no further complications!!!
