Hi Ladies, I am getting married next month and still don't have a dress. I went to davids Bridal to buy one off the rack. I have lost 66 lbs and I still need a size 26 wedding dress but i can wear size 22 pants. This was very disappointing. My question is does anyone have a beautiful dress in a 26 they want to sell or know where I can purchase one off the rack in ohio, chicago, or Indiana? Any help would be great ahving a small vegas wedding. Trying to get rid of at lest 10 lbs in 2 week
I am so disappointed with my weight loss, I had surgery on Jan 18, 2012 and I have been at a stall for over 4 weeks, My scale is stuck it fluctuates 3lbs up or 3 lbs down. I drink my water, eat protein and exercise at least 2 -3 times a week, Just venting. Have a good day!!!!!
I didn't make it to the gym today but I went online and found some old Richard Simmon videos....LOL. I haven't sweated like that in a long time... I worked out for 20 minutes and then I got on my elipitical machine. I am proud of myself. Starting today I am taking control of my life again.   Here's to the new me.
I am scared I am gaining weight, I purchased a scale about 3 weeks ago and I weigh myself 3 to 4 times a day and each time it says something different.   I am struggling with what to eat, I think I am doing the right thing and it seem like I am gaining. My Doctors office called today to inform me I was dehydrated and needed to go in and get fluids. I came home got on the scale and it went from 301 this morning to 309 is that right is it normal.   I am scared, I am failing, I am not losing
I haven't purchased a scale because I didn't want to be weighing myself every day. I am 24 days post op and not sure if i'm losing like i should. When I had my 2 week appointment I had lost 25 lbs. My clothes don't feel as loose as they should at least to me. My stomach feels like it bloated, my incision still hurts like hell.   I'm having trouble getting all my vitamins in daily, and I need to start exercising. I'm sure that will help me alot. I am still off work and i'm scared to go
I was sleeved 01/18, and I can't seem to get full. I am so hungry that I feel weak. On my diet I can eat beans and mashed potatoes. protein shakes crystal light and popsicles. I'm just not getting enough to eat. Should I be this hungry or am I doing something incorrect. ? Please help i am getting tempted to eat the wrong thing to get full...although i wont but i feel like it! Any ADVICE WILL HELP.     Thanks
Hey everyone, Hope all is well. As for me I was sleeved on 01/18. Since I had my sleeve everything has been going great. And I am so thankful. I am drinking my crystal light and water. I ate some beans and applesauce. The new protein drink was disgusting getting some more good ones tomorrow.   I don't know when i am full so I just eat the small amount i put on my little plate. Everything stays down. Should I be eating more or less?   Thanks
Hi Everyone, I am so glad the surgery is over. I was home within 24 hours. I am still in pain but trying not to get addicted to the pain meds. Everything i eat is staying down, no gas pains and no trouble with my bowels (TMI)...lol   I get up and walk around the house its really cold here. To everyone who sent me a message , I appreciate it alot.   Take Care, I know it will get better.
As I write this, I have so many thoughts going through my head. The one thing I am not, is scared and fearful. This is the first surgery I have ever had and feel like it is one ot the best choices I have ever made for myself. I have the weird thoughts about what if I don't wake up, but my mind tell me this has been done so many times and so many people have had such great success, that GOD will make sure I am in that number to.   This forum has been so helpful to me. I have learned alot a
Hi, just checking in to see how everyone is doing. Day five and I am feeling great, I am handling the liquid diet like a champion!!!! I can tell in my face that I have lost weight. I went to a support group today and everyone seemed so happy with their decision. I can't wait to be sleeved.   I hope everyone has a great week.
Hi, this is the 4th day of my preop diet. Things are going well. Yesterday I did cheat and ate one piece of hot wing from kfc drank one protein shake and ate green beans. Today I am not hungry i ate an apple and drank one 8 oz. bottle of crystal light. I will have my lean chicken and green beans tonight. I can have 2 protein shakes, and a meal on my preop that is what saves me.   It seem like it's getting easier. I know I need to get the protein shakes in but today i didn't want it.
Today I thought I was going to go crazy with this liquid diet. By lunch time I was starving and ready to eat everything that was not nailed down, but i referained. when I got off work I rushed home to prepare my 6 ounces of chicken breast and a can of green beans, D_E_L_I_C_I_O_U_S. I didn't realize how addcted to food I am.   I go to the doctor tomorrow to get my surgery clearance, I am a little worried, back in 2003 I had a blood clot on my left ventrical. I have been feeling great si
This is my first day of my pre-op diet. It has not been that bad. I managed to drink my crystal light, but I forgot to get some protein. I called the Nutrionist today she stated I could eat 4-6 0unces of lean meat, so I had 1 chicken strip and green beans. It took me 30 mins to eat trying to get into the habit.   I went to Walmart and boy did I want so much of the junk I used to eat, but I passed it by. I was proud of myself.   I am looking forward to ths journey and really want it to
