  1. I had the same thing. The pathology came back just fine. Try not to stress.
  2. My blood sugar has been on the high side even after losing 46 lbs. I can't figure out why since I am eating almost no sugar. Is this something that will regulate itself?
  3. Do you give them the total from your absolute highest pre-op weight or just since surgery? I feel like I am saying so much "Well, 30 lbs since surgery, but 43 overall".. How do you answer?
  4. I woke up from surgery with one on! I wear it all the time except for sleeping. I love it. It feels so good on.
  5. I am 3.5 weeks out. At 2 weeks I was eating yogurt, eggs, beans, cottage cheese, cheese, applesauce, pudding, jello & protein shakes.
  6. I am in the dreaded 3 week stall. Don't get me wrong - I am happy with my loss so far - have lost 25 lbs in the 3 weeks, but for the past few days I have been the same. Anyone have any tips to overcome the stall??

  8. I am in the same boat. I was sleeved on 4/10. I have lost almost 20 lbs since then (which I am very happy about!), but for the past few days I have been stuck at the same number. I am hoping that I will get on sometime this week and have lost a chunk. Who knows. It will come off. It WILL!!!
  9. The first couple weeks we are supposed to focus on fluids (per my dr). It is almost impossible to get all your protein in at first. Just concentrate on liquids and do your best.
  10. I have a list from my surgeon for post op diet and the weeks they are allowed, but don't see mention of almonds or nuts. I can have peanut butter now, so is it safe to assume as long as they are chewed well, I can have almonds and nuts? Any thoughts?
  11. I am 8 days out, doing great with everything, but I am so emotional lately. I keep getting choked up at the most random times. Is this normal? I feel like I am going a little crazy.
  12. I would think something was wrong with you if you weren't nervous and scared. I am a week out and can honestly say it isn't that bad. The anticipation leading up to it is way worse!!! Hang in there! You will be just fine!
  13. An you please post a sample day menu (including snacks and amounts)? I am 1 week out and need some encouragement that I will indeed eat again. Lol.
  14. I can have yogurt starting today. I want to get the most protein bang for my buck. Which one do you all like that gives enough protein?
  15. Since I am still on liquids, I think it is the way I am taking my pills that is making it do that. I have to break the pain pill into 2 and I have zofran to take. So I am taking 3 pieces right after each other. Maybe if I wait a couple minutes between each piece it will stop??
  16. I was sleeved on Tuesday. I have had probably 4 bouts of this happening.. I get an overwhelming urge to throw up, and I just end up spitting up foamy saliva. It lasts for about a minute and goes away. Please tell me this is normal and not something weird my sleeve is doing.. Should I worry? If this is normal - how long will this happen?

  18. Hey everyone - I was sleeved on April 10!! I spent 1 night in the hospital. I am home resting now. Not too many complaints, but my belly feels very sore. Nausea has been a little bit of an issue, but I have some good meds. Slide over on that losers bench and make room for me!!!

  20. My dr says it will be horrible nausea for 2 weeks. He is giving me the patch to put behind my ear. Surgery is Tuesday. What can I expect, nausea-wise?
