  1. There should be a report link somewhere on the email page. Look for it, I know I have used it before.
  2. I like it but It would be nice to have some form of explanation of what changed besides the look. I see that you can like a comment. Does it notify the comment writer? There is no more + or - feedback? It took me a while to figure out that lol
  3. Get the FitBit. I am really excited to try it out. It will be my Christmas gift to myself. It will tell you how many steps you take and what you burn. You can upload it to your computer and it will give you charts of your activity and you can track what you eat so you know you are burning more than what you are taking in. Look it up check it out ...it will be cheaper than the gym but you must keep moving.
  4. I actually have not tried it yet but I will pick it up. BTW if you are interested in the Private Facebook December Group inbox me your name and location. I will friend you, add you to the group then defriend you for privacy. Its great cause no ones knows about the group uinless you are in it. We already have 22 members and counting.

  6. That's Right!!! 2012 is your comeback year & mine too BTW if you are still interested in the secret Facebook Group for us December Bandsters. In box me your name with location. 7. Thank you for this post. I have decided when I first started on this journey to focus only on the things that I want to achieve. I have sorrounded myself with "Positive Thinkers" and "Inspirational Friends". It is because of this post from you and many others that I would like to return the favor when I am where you are in my journey. Thank You!
  8. BTW my surgeon yesterday told me that the lapband procedure takes him 20 minutes to put it in! That is minimal time to be under anesthsia. These procedures are not what they use to be when they would have to cut someone down their torso. This is from Dr. Robert Anthony book "Beyond Positive Thinking" (1) "don't listen to others who are coming from fear and living in negativity. If you do, you are using YOUR creative powers to help THEM manifest what they fear." In New York ...we would just say "F*ck 'Em" ....LMAO Do you! It's no ones business.
  9. So if you were 225 pounds it would be ok? WTF!!! You are doing it to NOT get to a bmi of 40 or more. I have been lucky all the doctors that I have seen (mostly ones my surgeon referred me to) have been very supportive of my decision and they all think its great that we are being proactive.
  10. Thanks Matt I already had decided on the Ultra. I am excited to get it Good Idea with the Best Buy card! THANKS!
  11. LMAO that reminds me couple weeks ago I went to the "Last Chinese Buffet" meal at my favorite place. When I left I was pissed $100 later and it wasn't as good as I remembered it to be! Then as I was angry driving home & it dawned on me...IF it had been sooooooo delicious and worth every penny...I would have dreamt and missed that meal for the rest of my life. So I was grateful it was like breaking up with a bad boyfriend lol no turning back. Now tomorrow I am on my pre-op diet 26 days before my surgery because my doctor wants to see the scale move. I left the office and I was sad....now that I pondered on it some more....I am grateful that he is putting my ass in motion! No choice and no turning back. Everyday as I am having those Protein shakes I am just going to keep telling myself ..."this is the last diet I will ever be on".
  12. Thanks for the input I really want one...can't wait to get it. I didn't know that best buy sold them, that's even better. I think its a great tool to be able to see if you achieving calorie deficit and its more affordable then the BodyBugg. With the BodyBugg you have to pay for the online tools. Did you pay $100? Just curious if best buy offers a better deal. I have to buy 2 so I am looking for a bargain. BTW Happy Birthday!
  13. I have gained 6 pounds since my consult last month OMG Then I mentioned having "last supper syndrome" to my surgeon today and my big fat mouth got me in trouble. My doctor is making us start our pre-op diet starts tomorrow and we (husband and I) have to go back next Wednesday to prove we are losing weight. At first I was annoyed but being the heavist I ever been (260lbs!) I guess I needed a little b*tch slapping lol. Just shakes up to 800 calories. Nice dinner for us tonight and happily starting my "LAST" diet tomorrow. Wish me luck!
  14. OMG that really ...looks great what a difference!
  15. The headache is most likely from the anesthsia...BTW good luck!!! I am so siked for you!
  16. So far we are 10 and more joining the group. Apparently some names are very common so please include your location so I can find you guys on Facebook.

  18. Attention all December 2011 Bandsters!!! "TheCoolestSarah" started a Secret/Private group on Facebook. I am helping her add some of us in the group. If you are interested in joining inbox me. It is not searchable in Facebook because its private. I will have to friend you, then add you, then unfriend for privacy. Inbox me your full name None of your friends will ever know and nobody in the group will have access to your pictures or wall. RoeRoe I glad you made it in the group.
  19. Since you mentioned waterbottle I LOVE the Thermos Intak Poly bottle. I got it at Target for $10 I bring it with everywhere. Holds 24oz and you can keep track of how many times you filled it up. I have to say my Water intake has increased. The best part it does not leak. I like to add MiO to the water soooooo good. That's how I quit Diet Soda. Also love the MyoFusion powder Protein from GNC so far I like chocolate better than vanilla. Of course I blend in the blender ball cup also at GNC. You can make Protein shakes anywhere. Since I am pre-op that's the info I have but thanks for this thread because I am already starting my list for surgery and post-op.
  20. They probably don't really understand anything about this procedure. They are probably familiar with the gastric bypass when it was not done laproscoptically. Heck sometimes I have a hard time wrapping my mind around the fact that I am putting a band around my stomach to lose weight. I really didn't tell many people because I don't want to hear negative remarks. I definitely don't need any food police after the procedure anyway. My new motto: "What other people think of us, is none of our business". Paolo Coelho Out of the 4 people I told the one naysayer (my mom), I told her ...next year you will be telling me that its the best thing I ever did for myself. Good Luck on your journey & look for inspirational friends along the way.
  21. Yes I think so but if your hair grows in fast your roots will show but the color will stay on the dyed grays. I like it! I actually started buying the gray magic because it last a long time and its not that much more $. I get it at my local beauty supply but I actually bought it once on ebay.
