  1. All NSVs are the bomb! Congratulations!
  2. Hang in there, it does get better. Most of the air is indie your body around you stomach. Try some ginger tea, or flat ginger ale for the nausea. Are you getting enough fluids? Dehydration can add to nausea. Try a heating pad on your shoulders. I wish you well soon! I know it sucks. Just take one day at a time. Best wishes!
  3. It takes strength to reevaluate and apologize. We all make mistakes. Yours is not fatal!
  4. Di, I hope the ring turns up! I know you you must feel!
  5. Nicole when is your BD I had it on the 29 of June?
  6. Yep... too early for nap... just got up! Band is TIGHT this morning so hot tea only for breakfast. Will give it another go later in the day!
  7. I agree it is a disease and causes others like diabetes, high blood pressure, heart blockage.
  8. Congratulations! You will be great!
  9. Dang... forgot to mail your card... it will be belated! Sorry about that!
  10. Stop drinking with your food. It delays the full signal. You will not stretch your stoma if you eat cup at a time and chew well. Drinking with your meal will just make you able to eat more and get hungry faster.
  11. Swim like no one else is there and enjoy. Just relax. Everyone at the gym is focused on their health. You are just part of the gang. Post surgery stay out of the water until all incisions are full healed. Some report soreness around the port initially when swimming after surgery. That said it is a great exercise.
  12. Choose to follow your doctor's recommendations. You paid him for them!
  13. Follow your doctor's orders, take you pain meds and walk when you can! Good luck to you!
  14. Sliming is related to stuck, and if you are not throwing up will not harm you band.
  15. Good morning all! Hope things go well for you today Carole! Janet... you hair is short enough! Doreen, hope there are fewer bumps for your crew today! Nothing serious I hope! Dawn, keep on keeping on! Cawa enjoy your last week off and prepare to reentering the real world again! Michelle how goes your running hiking etc? Diane... here's to a quiet day for you! Cloudy and overcast here today, but no rain so far! I plan to work on the quilt and go to pilates and walk, walk, walk! TTYL.
  16. I don't eat sushi either... oops.... never did before surgery either! LOL!

Sounds like a small orgy. Give yourself a break!
  18. I believe you can have both breast lift and tummy tuck together, but many think it is a bit much. I would not recommend arms at the same time. The latter two are tough. My PS says the arms are the worst!
  19. Name, real or screen~ Grammy Goal weight for June 30th - 179 Weight on June 8 - 187 Weight on June 15 - 182 Age - 64 Dietary Goal - Lose weigh gained on 18 day vacation!
  20. Name, real or screen~ Grammy Goal weight for June 30th~ 179 Weight on June 15 - 182 Age - 64 Dietary Goal - Lose weigh gained on 18 day vacation!
  21. Flying does not affect the band since the cabin is pressurized. I flew within weeks of surgery and I have never had a problem. If you stress about flying, STRESS can tighten your band, on land, sea or air!
  22. Good advice. The I "THINK" I am hungry goes on long after you are full. Head hunger is a b***h and you have to face it head on!
  23. There are many causes for this symptom, some band related and some not. Only a doctor can give you the right advise and counsel.
  24. The small amounts involved will not hurt you.
  25. It is truly none of their business.
