I finally have a surgery date and I am so excited! It'll be on July 23rd and I haven't told many people because it is a very private and intimate choice to me and I don't need any negative words, thoughts or energy around me. I was having a rough time because my mother and boyfriend did not approve but I took heed to suggestions of talking to them about it and answering their questions. It helped a lot. I also explained to them that if the didn't approve that it was fine but I need them to keep those thoughts to themselves. They understood when I told them I needed a support system and I needed it I be them because they are the most important people in my life. My little brother disapproves to but he is only 15. Any other late July surgery dates?

Good luck I am sure you will find plenty of support on here also going to a support group at your hospital will be an excellent source of support! Good luck on your journey as I have 5 days before I begin my own!!!
