  1. Yay! Dawn is back! Yep the band changes how much alcohol we can handle. I rarely drink anything anymore, I already was a cheap date! Glad you had nice night out. Enjoy the 4th week!
  2. Just take it one day at a time. It sounds like you are tight enough just need to make better choices for food. Consult a nutritionist is you need guidance.
  3. BTW.... I never wear flip flops and only wear heels when I have to! Flip flop rub blisters between my toes, never toughened them up I guess!
  4. Progress... one box at a time!
  5. In NC the proper footwear is flipflops! ROFLMAO! Take it easy for a few days!
  6. Love, glad you survived the day... I just knew it had something to do with daycare and Mom. STOP beating yourself up, you are only human like the rest of us... oh... but apparently I am exceptional! U am honored!
  7. I would expect your doctor has requested an over night stay at the hospital. If you are covered by insurance I would stay. If not, question them about the option of same day surgery. It may be that they are also expecting to fix a hernia? There is no award for being tough. DO what your doctor thinks is right for you!
  8. Do or do not... there is no try! You can do it if you want to!
  9. The drier it gets the smaller your bites have to be and the more you will need to chew it! True for a lot of reheated meats.
  10. We've all been there. Best wishes for the rest of the pre-op and your surgery. You have a lots of support and friends here!
  11. Yep... your day will come and your Mom will be so proud!
  12. Great discovery, now remember to stop at 1 cup of food, not when full!
  13. Congratulations and good luck with the band. Stick with the guidelines and it will work for you!
  14. Prayers for your continued recovery... walk when you can and sip, sip, sip!
  15. Try sipping 3 oz of your shake, wait and hour and then sip three more all day. In between sip hydrating liquids. Are you allowed any solid foods on your pre-op?
  16. Chicken, especially reheated chicken is the devil!
  17. Happy Saturday! Strength to Diane, well wishes to Carole's toe. Hope Janet is having a blast, and Dee is heading for a peaceful weekend. Love to Cali girls and Dawn hope it is a brad weekend!
  18. We have you are our angel on earth Doreen. I know that the family appreciates your sitting with the lady so she could be at home.
  19. I had a similar experience and dehydration is no fun. Don't be surprised if you gain a bit of what you lost back with proper hydration. I am glad you are better and got it taken care of!
  20. Generally not unless you have some heath related problems due to excess skin and chafing.
  21. That will depend upon your surgeon and how busy he is. You should ask the office.
  22. You can have whatever you want if you eat the right portions!
  23. Great news that your surgery may end up saving your life. It is a reason for being a compliant patient.
