Post-Op January 2014 Losers Club!
I am having a hard time staying under 1000 calories and anything I eat no longer seems to fill me up. After I eat I feel hungry again like an hour later. Anyone know what I should do or what foods do you all eat that fills you?

I am a June, 2013 RNY patient, so I have been doing this for a few months now. I use MyFitnessPal.com religiously. I have mine set so 40% come from protein, 30% from fat an 30% carbs. It has been working for me. Good luck! Carol Thank you Carol....I will set mine this way also

My calories are between 800 to 1000 but mostly 1000 range and I think I am eating too much. I don't see my Dr and nutritionist till mid may to find out if I should change anything. My weight loss is extremely slow like antwhere from only 1-2 lbs. per week. I have noticed the lower calories I eat the less I lose. That don't seem right but that's the way it is going with me . But I will take it even though it is slow the weight is still coming off

Does anyone know what we can take for a cold? I was gonna call my doctor today but got side tracked and never got to call him.I know we have to avoid stuff that contains aspirin and sugar.

I also am a slow losr and just adding excercise when I can on an eliptical. Even though not losing weight I know this is gonna take a while. I am told muscle weighs more than fat so you may be gaining muscle as you are losing inches..if that makes sense. I am also told those of us who had lapband removed and Gatric bypass done we will lose slower than those who have just had bypass or sleeve. I hope this helps

You are doing great...congrats on the weight loss.. you are looking good. How are you doing since being in the hospital? I hope everything turned out good for you I am doing so much better. I have another EDG scheduled for the 26th to make sure that it don't develop another stricture but I am so glad that I can eat now without throwing up. I actually had some Wendy's chili and had about half and settled good. Great news so happy that you can eat again and hold it down
