  1. I am too at a small stall, I am 14 1/2 weeks out and havent lost in 11 days. I had a stall earlier and changed up what I was eating, added a bit more calories and really concentrated on my water intake and lost 5 lbs the next week. Just some trial and error is all I can suggest, everyone is different. Good luck to you, let us know what you tried and what worked for you.
  2. Yes, completely normal. I still feel like that sometimes and I am almost 4 months out. You will figure out the balance and be just fine. Best of luck to you!
  3. Congrats and best wishes to you on your journey, you wont be dissapointed!
  4. Are you drinking enough water? I am at a stall right now, havent lost in 9 days but I havent had nearly enough water, I am sure that has something to do with it. I also changed up what I was eating, added some more, and started the weight loss again ( at my 6 weeks stall) Give it a try, cant hurt right? Best of luck.
  5. I also tried some refried beans at 2 weeks out. I made them super runny with some pureed salsa and had no problem at all, couldnt eat much but did ok. All you can do it try it, sleevie will let you know if she doesnt like something for sure!
  6. I am almost 4 months out and just had a piece of bread with chicken salad, could only eat 1/2 of it. I think if you toast the bread you would be ok.
  7. I am not a soda drinker but I had a rum and coke ( I know...bad me!) at 10 weeks and only had one and there wasnt really that much soda in it...it was strong!
  8. I had my first post op bloodwork done at my 2 month appt, they wanted to make sure my vitamin levels were ok. I go in at 6 months and they do another set of bloodwork. All Docs are different as I see it the above posts.
  9. Not for me, I always had narrow feet, even when I was my heaviest. I have heard that lots have lost shoe sizes with weight loss, maybe you will too!
  10. That is wonderful news! Being diabetic is nothing to mess around with. Keep up the good work!
  11. Congrats! I know, it was the best feeling when I got there!
  12. Woo hoo! You are doing great! . Keep up the good work!
  13. Yaaay Taylor! I to had very little pain after surgery, glad to hear you are doing well. Best of luck to you!
  14. Hi Christina, I have no issue getting enough protein with just foods. I agree, 99.9% of the protein shakes suck, I only like Muscle Milk lights, I still have them at home if I am in a rush and need one to go. I get my protein from lots of different meats, eggs, yogurt, cheese, milk, fish, beans, cottage cheese, nuts...I could go on and on. I eat 5-6 times a day so I have no problem getting in enough protein. I will be 4 months out on June 9th. Good luck, just start trying different things, good old trial and error worked for me. I havent had anything not agree with me...yet! Best of luck to you!
  15. I am so sorry you are having a hard tome with the paperwork...it sucks! I was so lucky, I didnt have to do anything at all, they had me approved before my first visit. Hopefully they will get it together soon for you. Good luck!
  16. I am sorry you are feeling depressed. It is a difficult journey and you need to be in the right frame of mind to succeed. You can do this. It just take some good old fashioned will power. Sure, you can have whatever you want before your surgery but have smaller portions. Slowly change what you are eating to better choices and it wont seem so extreme to you, worked wonders for me. Best of luck to you, keep us posted.
  17. Welcome! This forum has been detrimental in my success, everyone is so supportive. Best of luck to you both!
  18. Hi Kevo, Best of luck to you today...you will do great! Keep us posted when you can on your recovery.
  19. I am glad you are going to therapy tonight. Dont give up on yourself and your marriage until you get down to the real root of the problem. You can change yourself but you cannot change bad judgment calls. Hugs to you!
  20. Yum! Thanks everyone for the great ideas. I too love the Trader Joes Chili lime burger...fabulous!
  21. OMG, those are soooo gross! I tried one and threw it out. Now that I know the skinny on them I am so glad I didnt like them , what a waste. RTD protein drinks do it for me but I try to get most of my protein from foods now.
  22. I eat them all the time, have since about 4-5 weeks and no issues so far!
