  1. I would say yes, increase the calories. I use Myfitnesspal and when I put in my exercise it ups my calorie intake for the day in the calculation. Give it a try, I bet it kicks the weight loss into gear again,. especially with the exercising. Good luck!
  2. Thanks! I know....I read these for a few months before my surgery and got more excited every day!
  3. Thanks, keep up the good work and looking forward to talking to you again.
  4. Hello Lauren and welcome! I am excited for you, I feel soooo much better now, it is amazing. I know how you feel about the "prison", I was in that too. I couldnt do anything with the kids cause I was too tired or too fat. My to do list is getting smaller...yours will too soon! Good luck to you!
  5. OMG, you all are too funny! We call sweaty butt monkey butt...lol! I never wore spanx but I am so for a burning party when you dont need them anymore!
  6. I am eating pretty much anything I want. I of course make better choices but I was never much of a carb person so that helps alot. I dont drink soda and dont crave sweets either so it has been fairly easy for me. I go out to dinner quite often and do just fine. I go to mexican and have either ceviche minus the tostada shell or a meat taco minus the tortilla. I love sushi so I have that often too, just take out most of the rice, I can only have 3-4 pieces and it is perfect. Most all restaurants have something you can pick and choose from and you get leftovers for the next couple days. Best of luck on your upcoming surgery!
  7. Congrats to you, you are doing fantastic! This site has been a godsend for me, it has helped me tremendously. Everyone is so nice and it really helps to hear everyone elses journeys, made me feel better knowing what I was feeling was normal. Welcome too by the way!
  8. It was normal for me, everyone is different. I didnt feel a real restriction till I started solids, they I really did!
  9. Yum...I love jerky, thanks for sharing! I think I might have to order some.
  10. I think a 2 week liquid diet is a bit overkill. I had only a 2 day liquid diet but I did eat very sensibly the month before my surgery...you will be fine, just look forward! Good luck to you!
  11. What a good idea, can you email it to me too? My email is kimmy95620@yahoo.com. Thanks a bunch!
  12. I am not sure but I am 4 months out and my tummy sings to me all the time. I think it is funny personally.
  13. Wow...a waiting list, never heard of that. Best of luck to you for a speedy ride to the top of that list!
  14. Yaaay! I am so happy for you! Best of luck with a speedy approval! I remember how excited I was!

  16. Love the short cut on you Pookey!
  17. Oh yes, I am just at four months out and have the same issue. I notice it in the shower drain and when I am combing out my hair, not huge amounts but way more than I used to have come out.
  18. I am sorry you are feeling bad, I think you arent getting enough calories and water. I felt that way and worked real hard to get in enough nutrition and water and felt better. You are doing fantastic, my prayers are with you!
  19. Sounds yummy...can't wait to try it, thanks for sharing! I like the spicy stuff and I have had no issues with them either, thanks goodness!

  23. Lol! I feel ya, I get the same thing! I call my husband over to listen to my tummy when it is really rumbling. He said it sounded like a 2 liter bottle of soda being opened one time! Doesnt bother me at all, I just try not to burp too loud depending who is around.
  24. Low fat as far as mozzarella but regular with all the rest, I am only eating a ounce at a time so I want the good stuff!
