  2. Thank you!!! Looking at your stats, you are doing terrific at only four months in! I agree re: this forum being a godsend. The support group meetings are inconvenient for me to get to and are only held once a month. Here, I feel I can get all the support I need, when I need it
  3. They say to expect your stomach to be swollen for several days-mine was swollen for two weeks, so expect it to be swollen for some time. As far as gas goes, I see you posted six days ago. I'm hoping that by now you have passed gas. VERY uncomfortable I know. Without taking anything, I passed gas on the third day. Good luck!
  4. Hello everyone. I am a new user, however, I have been reading the posts for a couple of weeks now. I, like some, have went back and forth with whether or not to undergo surgery for weight loss. After a visit to my doctor's office (I avoided him for a whole year), and finding that I was borderline diabetic and had hypertension, along with tipping the scales at 346 pounds, I decided enough was enough. I was sleeved on 4/23/12. Since I started my journey, I have lost 51 pounds My goal is 180-190 pounds, given I am 5'11". I am still struggling with my protein intake and I'm just incorporating semi solid foods into my diet. I realize I needed support from those who have gone through what I have and here I am I look forward to reading and sharing in everyone's success stories!!!
