  1. Congrats to you, we are really close in our goals. I am down 59, 44 since surgery with a goal of 46 lbs to go! We can do it by Christmas...no problem. I need to hit the gym harder as well, I have been slacking the last couple weeks. I have been so busy with my Dad being sick and working in my yard ( it is 3/4 of an acre!) so I am getting some exercise but not enough. Lets kick this into gear... we can do this!!!
  2. Really...you are all doing great! The pound a day doesnt last forever ( darn it!) I go back and forth, a lb a day then no weight loss for a week, just varies. Please dont be frustrated, it will happen. I keep telling myself the slower I lose, the less saggy skin I will have. Keep up the fantastic work everyone!
  3. BTW...this is a huge NSV for you...not a small one!
  4. Yaaay! What a great feeling! I am so happy for you.
  5. They will have something you can eat on the menu. If not, order a sandwich, eat the meat and cheese off it, I have done that! Worst case scenario, bring a protein drink and enjoy visiting with your friend. Good luck!
  6. Hey carbgrl, I knew there had to be some Feb sleevers out there! I know, it feels sooo good to know I am a bit over halfway there! Congrats to you as well!
  7. That is a great NSV, thanks for sharing! Congrats to you!
  8. It should be based on your consult weight, not your current weight. Call your doc and find out for sure.
  9. Best of luck to you both! Keep us posted when you can!
  10. I am soooo craving a coffee drink right now! Thanks for all the great ideas everyone!
  11. Yaaay! Great job, you look fantastic!
  12. Yaaay Tracey! I m 12 weeks out on the 9th and down 59 lbs, 44 lbs since surgery. We are kicking some butt arent we? Congrats to you and keep up the good work!
  13. I know...isnt it great to do that! I am a cheap date now! I have had the same look from the wait staff but I tell them about my surgery so they dont think something is wrong.
  14. Wow! What a ordeal! I am sorry you had to go thru that but look at the bright side, it does get better and you will be back to normal ( whatever that is lol!) in no time! Keep up the good attitude, it works wonders!
  15. Well, I drove before I was supposed to. I got bored a week out and drove to the store a couple times just to get out of the house!
  16. Woo hoo, you look amazing! Keep up the fantastic work!
  17. Call Kaiser and find out about the bariatric program and find out who you can talk to about the refusal, they should know how to handle this and get you a new pcp to take care of the referral. Good luck to you!
  18. No issues, had my hair done 4 weeks out. No polish or makeup for surgery tho.
  19. Yaaay! Best of luck , keep us posted on your recovery...you will do just fine!
  20. I havent had any hair loss...thanks goodness but if you keep up your protein and vitamins I dont think you will have much of a problem. I see stuff on taking biotin but my Dr says it isnt really effective and a waste of money but some say it helps. Good luck!
  21. It will happen, there is no way you cannot lose inches with weight loss, sometimes it just take a while...frustrating isnt it?
  22. How cool is that? There is nothing better than your kids giving you praise, you know they really mean it too! Congrats to you on your weight loss, you do look amazing!
  23. WOO HOO! Congrats to you...great job!
  24. Please, just enjoy it! You are obviously showing your confidence...roll with it I say! Who doesnt love the attention...I know I do!
