  1. I am a reserve police officer. I was a full time officer for 13 years. I went to Tijuana and had no problems. My dad and my 19 year old daughter went with me. We walked all over shopping and felt totally safe.
  2. I was stalled for about 5 weeks and started drinking this once a day (you could do it twice a day if you want). I've lost 1 1/2 pounds in three days. It's also great for helping with regularity, which we sometimes have an issue with. 2 scoops Herbalife wild berry protein beverage mix 1 serving Herbalife active fiber complex 1 serving Herbalife herbal aloe 8 oz. water The beverage mix only has 70 calories, 15 grams of protein, and 0 sugar. The active fiber has 5 grams of fiber. The beverage mix comes in wild berry or peach mango and the fiber comes in unflavored or apple. If you want to give it a try, you can order off my website. The shake mixes tastes great too.
  3. Something I really like is Herbalifes chicken protein soup mix and their protein beverage drink mix in wild berry or mango. Just mix with water and sip. The beverag mix is 70 calories and 15 grams of protein, I think the soup mix is about the same. Their shake mixes are also the best I've tried.
  4. I was grouchy but it was all stress. I also went to Mexico so I had that added stress. But it was the best thing I've ever done for myself and I'm so glad I did it.
  5. I know how you feel. I have been stalled for about 5 weeks. It's so frustrating but I keep telling myself it can't last forever.
  6. I'm almost 7 months out and the weight loss has definitely slowed down and I can eat more now than I could before so I really have to keep myself in check with what I eat. I have to stay on track and remember to watch my carbs and just follow the basics they taught us.
  7. Sliced cucumbers would be good with that.
  8. I'm about 6 1/2 months out and I aim for 900-1000 calories a day and I get about 60-80 grams of protein. I was losing really good and the last month it's slowed down a lot. Now I'm only losing about 1 to 1 1/2 pounds a week.
  9. Women seem to have this issue more than men because our water weight can flucuate so much from day to day, especially that time of month. It is very frustruating. I know I shouldn't weight every day but I do.
  10. I'd follow your doctors orders to a T. Mine was a 2 week preop. At first it was two shakes and a dinner of chicken and salad then just shakes then liquid. Good luck.
  11. I'm truely sorry that I offended you. I never meant to imply that you haven't worked hard. We are all different and each body does not look the same after weight loss. Again I apologize.
  12. I almost cried when I sold mine but the surgery was worth it. I plan on getting a new Harley Street Glide next summer. We are going to Sturgis this year and I will just have to ride on the back of my boyfriends bike. It won't kill me, I just won't like it though.
  13. Good question, mine has been falling out in handfuls since about 3 months out and I took Biotin from 2 weeks after surgery until just recently. Thank goodness I had a ton of hair to start with or I would be bald by now.
  14. I had to sell my bike to help pay for my sleeve but my boyfriend has a bike so I still ride. I can't wait to get another bike, probably next summer because the one I want is way too expensive.
  15. I guess I'm just a little shocked that you need all that when you've only lost 56 pounds. I see most people lose over a 100 before needing that. That makes me nervous about losing 107 pounds because I've been pretty sure up until now that I might not need any plastic surgery. Hope it all works out for you. Good luck.
  16. I had acid reflux before surgery and have not had it even once since surgery. I haven't had to take any medicine either. Somehow the surgery fixed the problem for me.
  17. I only had a week off. My job is a combination of sitting, standing, and walking. Two weeks would have been nice but I felt ok, just tired.
  18. I think my instructions said to wait 9 days.
  19. I also printed out a lot of recipes from here and eggfaces's site and put them in a binder. I use it all the time and it only has the recipes I love and know I will use so it's perfect.
  20. My new favorite snack is sugar free popsicles from Schwan's. They come in 3 flavors and are only 15 calories. Very tasty.
  21. I don't have the exact measurements with me but I mix Herbalife chocolate shake mix (or any protein powder will do), PB2 (powdered peanut butter), honey, oats, and a little water. I just eat it with a spoon when I want a chocolatey sweet snack or make balls out of it and you can roll them in cocoa or leave plain. It's so good.
  22. I'm 5 1/2 months out and I still don't eat hardly any bread. I do not like how it feels in my stomach, like it swells up. After a while you don't really miss it that much. Other than bread I can eat pretty much anything.
  23. OMG, I love those. Luckily I haven't been to the store lately so I haven't been tempted yet.
  24. I think I was told to wait for 8 or 9 days after surgery. I've been drinking coffee every morning since then and no problems. I had to give up diet coke, don't mess with my coffee. A girl can only give up so much.
  25. I use the Kays Naturals protein chips and they have a nacho flavored one. But I like this idea. Thanks.
