  1. Ooh, thank you feedyoureye, I can't wait to try that. I just have to get some peanut flour. Wish the SO luck, he will be my guinea pig for the foreseeable future, lol.
  2. Woohoo, you and I are about the same spot on the 6MSWL. We will get through it. I have read on here and from what my PCP has told me, keep with it and make sure you make every appointment. It isn't so much about the weight loss as much as making healthy choices. For me the hardest part hasn't been the "diet" per say, but incorporating more exercise.
  3. I think I am going to go on a trial run of the pre-op diet in about two weeks, so this is really info ladies. Thank you!
  4. WOOHOO! Great photos! I can't wait to be able to wear shorts. They always ride up on me now.
  5. Maybe order some plain chicken wings and heat yourself up some veggies? That is what my mom has always done. She has some strange aversion to pizza.
  6. Thank you, this is really something to think about.
  7. Congrats, that is so awesome! Keep up the great work. Onederland here she comes!
  8. Ahhh, I am going to have to ask about that. I am a chronic gum chewer. I am not kidding almost half a pack a day. I really don't know how I am supposed to quit. It really helps me keep from mindless eating and with my stress levels.
  9. Aw, hope you heal up soon. Wishing you a quick recovery!
  10. That's just plain funny. You gave me a great idea though. Potlucks at work will so be getting muffins with yucky protein powder. *insert maniacal laughter here* Poor unsuspecting coworkers.
  11. Haha, you make a good point. With just me and the boyfriend, after surgery I might have to alter my recipes for smaller portions or we will never get rid of things, lol.
  12. I don't know what will work for me yet, but I have taken the guidelines set forth by my surgeon as my first rule and then what I have learned on here how to supplement it. I recommend keep reading, keep asking questions, and figure out what will work for you. I know that if I just eat regularly my body is normally happy, but this is still pre-sleeve thinking for me.
  13. I liked reading this. These are some of the same things I keep bouncing around in my head. Good topic.
  14. I think so, but then I really considered how much I had put my body through and how long I have been struggling and realized the sleeve is what I needed to help me keep it off. Losing weight isn't as hard for me as keeping it off. I need a little help.
  15. Ooh, I love mango. I will definitely have to look into that.
  16. Aw, I love my tomato soup. This makes me so sad. I love eating it with unflavored protein powder and topped with a little cheese and greek yogurt.
  17. Good read, thanks for sharing.
  18. Wow, thank you. I can't wait to try this. I used to be a vegetarian, but recently I started incorporating fish into my diet because of the SO and the idea I wouldn't be able to get enough protein in my diet after surgery.
  19. Aw, congrats. I definitely have the same feelings as you previously did about my closet now. Keep up the great work!
  20. Lol, that is amazing. Keep up the great work and you will be there before you know it. I am sure.
  21. Woohoo, congratulations on the great news! I am so happy for you.
  22. Wow, that is awesome! Keep up the amazing work.
  23. Congrats, you look wonderful! That dress is so pretty on you.
  24. Wow, congrats. I would love to have a moment like that. You are doing so awesome on your weight loss. Keep it up!
  25. Oh yikes, good tip for post op. Avoid lasagna and measure. Gotcha!
