  1. then youre going to do greeeeat! i had no pain after surgery. just a little sore. bring mouth wash for the dry mouth & all else will fall into place!
  2. good luck!!! i was sleeved dec 20th. in my experience so far, its not easy! im praying that itsworth it at the end. i figured out a way to get out of bed by myself without much pain. my incisions still hurt. i wish i could fast fwd this part. i hold liquids down ok. Protein shakes make mesick so i havent had any... SUPPORT is needed! u need ppl supporting you, not just virtual. i fell into a depression because most of my friends went mia all of a sudden, holidays, surgery, ex boyfriend, everything! itshard but im coping!!! i dont regret my decision as of yet but i do wish i wouldve waited a few weeks so that the holidays wouldnt feel how they do. other than that, all is well. after surgery, i felt no pain! only a severe dry mouth that wouldnt go away. a sore throat that didnt hurt that bad & thats it!

  8. i didnt see a message but i will check again!! let me say that you DEFINITELY need support. i never understood it until now. the holidays definitely didnt help & his actions during this vulnerable time makes things worse but im going to pull up my big girl panties & deal with it!

  17. maybe the weather? i know sometimes the weather made my gall bladder incisions would hurt. did you scratch it? is it red?
  18. im a 23yr old rican chick! i can relate a lot to your story but one part stuck out to me... you said you are 5'4 and earlier this year, your weight was 197. that leaves you at a BMI of 34. now your next step is to find out what your insurance requirements are because some insurances require 2-5yrs of weight history. if they do request that, you will not qualify & will strugglewith appeals to be approved. mine required 2yrs but i provided 6yrs. i am 5 days post-op.
