  1. What a mess you have been through! Let the countdown begin! Good luck and calm vibes being sent your way! Happy belated Birthday!
  2. I've had a few surgeries and the gas left over from the Laproscopy is always the worst thing. One time the gas got trapped in my right shoulder and that was very painful for a few days. I hope you feel better very soon. Take it slow...it sounds like you are doing a great job. Now come around and tell me the same thing after I have my surgery! You ARE doing a great job Hang in there!
  3. Sorry that happened to you. The pharmacist is probably just as embarrassed, but maybe s/he learned his lesson not to ask. I've feared being asked this question...it has never happened, but I also were my pants tight and always have a muffin top. Soon, none of us will be confused as being pregnant! Proud of you for laughing it off!
  4. I don't have my official date yet...but still plan to start the pre op diet on July 7th. That day will go cold turkey from my cherry coke habit. I will probably have horrible withdrawals. I'll be jonesing for a soda and have a headache too. Ima true addict. I can't tell you how many times I have tried to kick it in the past. It is one of the main reasons I have never been able to maintain my weight and one of the main reasons I've decided to have the surgery. I will not be able to go back on my decision to quit! Good luck to all those who are addicted to soda!
  5. Good luck Kath-A-Leena and Simply_KiZmet I hope today went WONDERFUL!!!! I hope you heal fast and share all your wonderful news!
  6. If you don't really think you would be missed....and you sister would have someone else to lean on maybe you could go ahead with your sleeve. Maybe you can offer to go spend time with her later. Send flowers or a plant now. I don't know all the details...but a lot of people need help later on after all the other people have gone away....after the shock has worn off. If there are kids...maybe you can offer to help with the kids...or some other special circumstances later on in a month or so when you have healed. Just an idea. How far away does she live from you? Make sure if you do decide to do this you explain it to her in detail and tell her how much you love her etc. Good luck with this tough situation!
  7. Sorry to hear about this...but other girls are right...better to know now than after! I hope it all stays on track from here!
  8. WOW 6 days!!!!!! AMAZING!!! Congratulations!
  9. urine color IS not a good sign. Definitely drink a lot more water. I just ended up with kidney stones from not drinking enough after moving to Texas. I hope you feel better soon.
  10. I hope you can find a good option. I wonder if your surgeon could arrange something where you can come back. I hope you can make a deal! Good Luck! Try not to worry too much!
  11. AWESOME!!! Keep up the great work!!!!
  12. You look ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!!!!!! WOW JUST WOW!!!!!!!!!
  13. Yay! That is very exciting! Congratulations!
  14. You are SOOOO right Irene. Thank goodness I did change my mind! I feel much better since venting!
  15. Thanks Maddie! Patience is my best virtue!
  16. I think all those emotions are Normal! I'm so very anxious today. I'm 5'3" and 230 right now. I feel a lot the same as you. I know I could probably lose weight again, but I've done it so many times before....I know I'll never have the will power to keep it off on my own without having the sleeve as a tool. I'm at my highest weight...but I've gone up to 199 and down to 165 many times over the last 15 years and then when I stop doing the work...it all comes back on. It is hard work and the Sleeve will help those like us so much. I JUST CANT WAIT TO GET MY APPROVAL!!! IS IT NEXT THUR YET????? LOL I can't wait to see your progress! Good luck!
  17. Just called to check on my insurance approval status. It is only a week since I've changed my mind from LB to sleeve...but it seems sooooooo very long. I know I'm being silly but just so ready to get this ball rolling. I'll call again next Thursday to see if I got my approval or not.... I'm kicking myself for not making the decision for sleeve in the first place! Just needed to vent some energy. Thanks for listening!!! ARGH!!!
  18. I sure hope to make it in ink for that day....If not then I hope to keep my surgery in for sometime in July. I can't WAIT to watch all you guys go ahead of me. I'm so anxious to get my date for sure. I had a surgery date of July 21st to get Lapband and then changed my mine after reading all the issues involved with Lapband. So here I am. I'm hoping to just move my surgery date up to the 22nd when my Dr. does sleeve surgeries on the next day. I'm hoping that my UHC insurance will feel the same about sleeve as it did for Lapband. I can't wait to get to know you FireCrackers. My birthday is July 16th....I can't think of a better gift to myself than a new beginning.
  19. So, I hope to hear soon. It has been about a week since I changed my mind from Lapband to Sleeve. I was previously approved for Lapband and already had my surgery date and kept reading about all the problems people had with Lapband and the having to have fills and unfills and hospital trips...etc.... So, I am so hoping that UHC will approve of Sleeve since it already approved my Lapband! AHHHHAHAHAH
  20. I'm UHC in TX. I was approved for Lapband...so I hope I'll be approved for sleeve too. I'm so happy for you! I hope all goes well.
  21. YAY!!!!!! I'm so excited for you!!!!!!! Can't wait to hear your experience and see your results!!!!
  22. YAY!!!!! That is so exciting! I hope I will be right behind you! I can't wait to follow you and see your progress! You go girl~!!!!!!!!!!

I used to have a couple of sets of panties/bras from VS.....and the only thing they were used for was to turn hubby on. I never ever ever wore them on a daily basis....they were too uncomfortable....even when I dieted down to a decent size. I'm all about the Warner or Warren? Bras from Kohls!
  24. Is it bad that my first though was to put my heel out behind me and trip him? :}
