So, I hope to hear soon. It has been about a week since I changed my mind from Lapband to Sleeve. I was previously approved for Lapband and already had my surgery date and kept reading about all the problems people had with Lapband and the having to have fills and unfills and hospital trips...etc....

So, I am so hoping that UHC will approve of Sleeve since it already approved my Lapband! AHHHHAHAHAH

Good Luck I have UHC too, and it was a pretty quik response, but I didn't switch. they seem to be pretty easy as long as you meet their requirements..

It shouldn't take them too, too long. I know they have up to 30 days to respond with any request for non-urgent procedures, but it they typically take two weeks. And as someone who is being revised from the band to a sleeve, I commend you on your decision!
