Still working on my bat wings but here's my most recent picture and I Iove my new haircut I've never had short hair before because of my fat face, short hair rules it's so easy to manage. Next on my list is a visit to the plastic surgeon to discuss reinflating the girls...LOL

I can not believe I've lost 93lbs and have reached my goal of 150lbs. Stepped on my Wii Fit and it said "Normal" (pic attached) I love the new me and shopping has become my favorite thing to do and crazy as it seems going to the gym is fun for me now. The sleeve has been the best thing I've ever done, and with my new confidenance I've gone back to college to complete my degree which is why I've not posted anything in so many weeks. Take Care

High school pic you do not look like a stick to me, you had this surgery for yourself when you get closer to your goal ask yourself do I think I look good then go from there.

Penpen, You can do it, I had two major surgeries before my sleeve and I was still scared up until the wheeled me into the OR. But based on your scripture in you signature you have something very important faith in God he will pull you through. Thanks for reading my post and Take Care

Fancy Huh, I'm 5'4" my daughter whose 11 wears a zero she's very tall for her age 5'3" she's now taking cloths from my closet. Thanks for the congrats and keep up the good work

Hello Everyone, I love reading the postive post about fitting into goal jeans etc. I started this journey trying to get healthy and off of all my medications in the back of my mind saying wearing a size 10 would be great also. Now here I am off my blood pressure meds., no more diabetes, and no sleep apena it's only been six months...this was exciting. But when I went to the store to buy a pair of jeans (still wearing my size 12) I was in shock when the size 10 was too big, my loving husband gave my a size 6 and said you've worked hard I know this is your size (tear...he's so supportive) and guess what he was right the size 6 jeans fit so I bought them. We later went to 4 different stores and I tried on their size 6 pants and jeans they fit I know crazy but it's taking my mind a long time to catch up to the new me. So to all the future sleevers out there this is truly the best thing you could do for yourself do not let anyone talk you out of having this surgery. It took me 2 years and 2 denials to finally get me sleeve I'm loving the end results. Thanks and Take Care

Hi MelMar98, I completely understand your concerns I had WLS surgery six months ago and my daughter who's eleven asked alot of questions prior to my surgery. Since she was born I've been in and out of the hosp. due to Cancer and other health problems. She did not think being over weight was a health problem, especially since her best friend in school is over weight. I had to keep explaining to her that this was a tool to help me keep the weight off for good when I loss it and she was happy with that response. Now I include her in my workouts and I'm teaching her by example how to eat properly even though my daughter is not overweight she still has body issues because sometimes her friends call her skinny minnie or bean poll so it bothers her sometimes. Hopfully after you have surgery you can find ways to include your daughter in your program and you both could loss together. Take Care
