    Suggestions and Help

One of my favorite grab and go lunches might be the healthiest, but I like it. I purchased a bag of frozen meatballs at Coscto, carbs are very low and protein high. The serving size is 5, but I only eat 3-4 and am full. Season with salt/pepper. I snack on cheese during the day too.

Ok. I'm probably just borrowing trouble. Thanks.

    September 2017 operation day

This is what I did and it really helped. I started with weaning myself off of d. Soda and any carbonated drinks (soda, beer, etc ). I was tracking daily whatever went into my mouth. I was getting at least 64 oz of fluid and 60 grams protien. No fluids 30 min before, during or after meals. Concentrating on chewing food well and eating slowly. I was walking 15 min at a time 3 times daily. I'm almost 5 months out and have been blessed with no complications. I haven't experienced any nausea or vomiting. Food still taste the same as it did pre-op. I started at a lower bmi of 38. I am losing around 12#'s per month. Hope this helps.

    Struggling to exercise

Just do what you can and don't pressure yourself to go past your limit. I'm 6 weeks out and walk 1.5miles a day. I was hoping I'd be back to my regular 3miles a day by now, but I've blacked out a couple of times. Yesterday I added an additional 500 steps to my walk and got dizzy on my way home :/ Your diet is the biggest driver of weight loss. Exercise helps, but it's not critical, so if you're struggling then take it slow. Anything is better than no activity at all.

Should I force myself to eat more?

My NUT said she wanted me at 1000 calories by 6 months, that extended time under 1000 calories is not good long term. She said that I should work up to 1200-1400 calories by 1 year out.
