The end of 72 hours post surgery

Good job... I was sleeved 8/21 and I can't even believe I'm on the other side. 28 lbs down.....things are looking up and I've not had a moments trouble. I was worried in the beginning.....because I'd never been under general anesthesia. It was fine.... took me a couple hours to assimilate to the real world again. I went to MX and flew home the second day....no problems at all. You'll be at three weeks soon and you won't believe the difference. Glad you're doing so well..........we are on our way.

    Post-Op Days 3-4

YES. I can so relate to the mindless eating being repulsive! My husband does A LOT of this and while I love him, it is killing me. Today we went out and I got two soups. One was just too thick, but I could lick the spoon and get the taste and that was nice. He had one bite, which was great because there's no way I could have the whole thing even over a week and in no time he was almost done with it! I handed it to him and he was all embarrassed. I really don't have much tolerance for mindless eating even though I totally did it! Weird.

    Post-Op Days 3-4

Thanks for sharing. I am in the "considering" VSL stage. I am truly inspired by the stories I am reading here. One of my biggest hesitations is my fear of not getting enough water. I have always been a huge water drinker (no pun intended) and I am fearful that I won't be able to get enough in.

    Day 2 Post-Op

Congrats on a very successful surgery. This is exciting. My surgery is Monday (Bea, I'm the 16th also!), and I'm just really hoping for an "easy" time. My surgery isn't until 10:00, so I'll probably be a basket case by that time, but I'm hoping for some nice relaxation drugs while I wait. Keep up the great work!
