This year my Christmas present to myself was sleeve surgery. Yes, Christmas Eve I had my surgery. Spent Christmas Day in the hospital. I love my family for adapting and not even blinking an eye as this Christmas was all about me and my health. Thank you to Dr. Fariba Dayhim at Easterm Maine Medical Center in Bangor Maine. She is great if any of you out there are wondering. My question.....I am about to progress to soft foods next Monday. Anybody out there found any products in the stores one wouldn't normally think of for this phase? Any advice?

Sleeved on 12/24/13. Other than working the gas out of my system, surgery and hospital stay was uneventful. 2 week check up on 1/6/14. Looking forward to being cleared for soft foods. Knock on wood....things have been going great.

Thanks for sharing. I am in the "considering" VSL stage. I am truly inspired by the stories I am reading here. One of my biggest hesitations is my fear of not getting enough water. I have always been a huge water drinker (no pun intended) and I am fearful that I won't be able to get enough in.
