    Cooking with tofu

Thank you both ladies for the facts of both sides. I don't plan on going crazy with the tofu, but I think there is a lot more research that indicates soy protein can lead to better heart health and lower cholesterol. So, again...if anyone has any recipes for tofu... I'm open ears!

I keep reading that it's a factor, but I have GERD and have been on prescription antacids for years, and I have had the sleeve. I don't notice any difference, quite honestly.

Change in Amount I Can Eat

Congratulations on your weight loss! That is incredible! I am only 7 weeks post, but I wanted to tell you I've seen people describe the same situation. At 3 to 8 months out, they aren't as hungry as they used to be. I hope this is the case for me too! I just wanted to let you know you're not the only one. I'm not sure why people haven't responded yet!

    Shopping for Post-op

I couldn't wear a bra for a couple of weeks after surgery (incision was under the band), so if you're going back to work, I'd pick up some snug tank tops to wear under other shirts to tame the "girls"!

I'm two weeks out and doing two walks at about a mile each every day. In between, I try to get up and move around for a bit every hour or two, but I don't count steps/distance for those periods.

I’m 23 days since my sleeve

I feel like I'm following @Creekimp13 around the message board and agreeing with everything she says, LOL. This is what I am doing. I'm at 8,000 steps a day now. I need to add an actual walk to meet this goal. All three of my current paths are 1.3 miles. Two of them are fairly flat and the third is very hilly -- I do the hilly walk every few days. Map My Walk is a great ap if you have a smart phone with GPS. And, get a Fitbit -- I ordered the new Versa and its coming today!
