Hey, if there is anyone in the South Los Angeles, CA area who is in the beginning stages of their journey or will be having surgery soon and needs protein shakes, liquids, i have some I would like to give away. I have premier protein shakes in chocolate and vanilla flavors, I have a couple of containers of creamy soups in tomato and butternut squash, I also have Arizona green tea zero and a few bottles of vitamin water zero... if you are interested in any of the items please message me. First come. We can meet up. I overstocked prior to my surgery and would like to share with someone who may need these items. I also have broths as well, chicken, beef, and veggie broths. With love, Jenny

Not true. Just a couple of protein shakes a day supplies the recommended daily protein. With mine, it's roughly 30 grams a serving and I would drink 2 a day. Recommended is 60-80 grams a day.

One month out from surgery! Still stalled...(thought I wasn't - it was just a tease). Still, 15 pounds in one month is not bad, and the inches are definitely coming off. I may be able to get into a smaller size as my biggest clothes are just barely hanging onto me now.

The inspection is typically after there is an offer and acceptance, but prior to closing. This gives you the opportunity to view the inspection report and either move forward or back out based on the results. Most real estate transactions are subject to buyers acceptance and approval of inspection, but you can ask your realtor to either put that in your offer or show you the exact language that shows the inspection as a contingency so you're not at risk for losing your earnest money deposit.

Yes, you are right. You make and offer, which is contingent upon an inspection. If the inspection comes back with issues, then you can either lower your offer to accommodate the expenses of fixing things, or you can walk away and find another place. Of course, you will need to spend another $250 - $400 for an inspection on the next place as well. Either way, it is well worth the money.

Ditto what sc101071 said. I also recommend following the inspector around the house when they do the inspection to double-check what they are looking at, and generally for your own knowledge as well.

I'm told a lot of people with type 2 go into remission postop. Make sure you work with the NUT and dietician so you manage your sugars postop so you don't crash. I became hypoglycemic postop and have to eat some sugar to make sure I don't have crashes. My morning sugar avgs around 60. Doesn't surprise me, before I gained weight I was hypoglycemic, then had kids and gained over 100lbs, fixed the hypoglycemia, but messed up everything else lol. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk

I wish you all the best then. I was able to come off the lasix about 2 weeks preop. I'm 2 years postop and have maintained good heart health since. It was past time for me to lose the weight and get healthy. Sent from my SM-T350 using Tapatalk
