Regain after reaching goal
Regain is easy, but it can be totally controlled with the right mindset. It’s been 15 years since I had gastric sleeve surgery done lost 100 pounds within eight months and stayed there for a good while I would go up and down 15 to 20 pounds every couple years the only thing that ever works for me is low-carb or keto so that’s what I do. I jump back on the bandwagon. Make sure I Watched my snacking and sliders as everybody knows what those are and get it off this last year I did a GLP one and lost the final 30 pounds below my original goal. I’m happier than I’ve ever been. I’m 71 years old going strong travel often enjoy life the best thing I’ve ever done healthwise and just Let’s be honest good for your pride you can do it. It’s just a tool and we have to work it. Go team go.

Am I a 'recovered' morbidly obese person?
You do know this is exactly the Keto eating plan. High fat, moderate protein, low carb. The REAL fats help curb hunger and your body has found the right formula if those for you!

Coming up on 5 year anniversary and slowing starting to gain
I’m 8 1/2 years out and I’ve gained and lost about 20-25 lbs every two years or so. It DOES take will power and realizing we are losing like NORMAL peeps now. Keep it in check before it snowballs. I’ve always lost FAST. Not so much now and only thing that works for me is low carb/Keto. In process of losing that same regain now and have lost about 12 pounds doing Keto/low carb and not eating after 8pm til about 11am. Easy because I am a meat eater. You CAN do it. Just focus on NO GRAZING, snacking and basics!

Frozen Foods Month – The WLS Way!
Great article! I also like to have low sodium thin slices mesquite turkey and 2% cheese for rollups. Quick, low carb and easy. Also 100 cal packs of guacamole (wholly guacamole or Marketside) and cut up red pepper for "chips" or cucumber slices. I always keep the Morningstar crumbles in hand. Use in chili, soups, casseroles. Awesome. And I also love the lean cuisine meals. Thanks, Alex. Great article.

Irregular period
Not sure about this, but many of my friends who are "more mature" (as in older) and were in the middle or almost through menopause started having a period again after surgery! It definitely affects the female hormones. Here's what Web MD says, If you are not pregnant, other causes of missed or irregular periods include: Excessive weight loss or gain. Although low body weight is a common cause of missed or irregular periods, obesity also can cause menstrual problems.

Joining Weight Watchers after Gastric Sleeve surgery.
I'm surprised at your early stage you are eating 1100 calories. Most are eating around 800 or so to lose with VSG. Again, as others have said - you are going to confuse yourself at this early stage. Everyone goes through stalls (there are several threads talking about them) and then starts losing again. Your program through your surgeon will not line up with WW. You had surgery to finally lose what you needed. I would advise you to call your surgeon's office or nutritionist and get advice from them. Also, as someone else said, find a support group who are also sleevers. Wishing you the best! Keep us posted.
